This is my favorite toy! With 75,000 CP, it's light turning on the sun when you hit that button! You get the most blinding light on the market, and a nice, light-weight, narrow handle to club any idiot who gets squirrely on ya! Can't beat it for your big light! It almost makes me wish I worked Mids, instead of Eves... almost.

This little flashlight has a lot going for it. I purchased these for standard carry by my officers. It is compact with a huge ability to deliver illumination where ever it's needed. Tactically is great too because, given the proper training, it can be used defensively but doesn't carry that "steel club" image. It's light-weight, compact, powerful and versitile. What more could you want in a piece of tactical gear?

Now, that's my friend. This flashlight has taken some beating always performed. get the lifetime warranty with it. We did and replaced anything needed as fast as same day if you walked into a streamlight dealer.

With 75,000 Candlelight Power and being fully rechargable with no memory loss it is the main flashlight of choice on Nightwatch. It comes with an AC/DC adaptor and is EXTREMELY bright and trustworthy. The only thing is that it doesn't have the weight that a mag does so... in extrememe circumstances may not make the best impact weapon (Dept. policies and use of force scales varying). Check it out if you are unhappy with your mag, great for Traffic Stops and any run including checking buildings/houses/warehouses. On a previous review they say one drop and you're done.... I have dropped mine on several occassions on bare concreat or roadway and it still works; however there is truth in that statement in that I have dropped it once before and had to replace the bulb. It is still worth it for it's brightness and size. Unlike LED flashlights the beam can also be changed accordingly. Highly Recommended. - From a consistent and trustworthy Nightwatch Officer

As others have commented, this is a seriously BRIGHT light. In a field test I found that a fully charged one was brighter than the squad mounted spotlight! I'd like to see a more "rugged" bulb. I have dropped mine a few times and run right about 50% of the time the bulb croaks... I use this as my primary light, but ALWAYS carry a backup light...just in case I drop it.

Very bright flashlight, lights up a large area, and good option with the adjustable beam. I have dropped this flashlight multiple times on cement and other hard surfaces and the light continues to work with no problems. I was bothered by the sound of the battery moving in the light, so I wrapped a sheet of paper around it and made the unit more solid, without any sounds from the battery. If you do carry this flashlight, remember to keep it charged. They are serious about the 1 hour run time. The light quickly dies out when the battery gets low, so probably not a bad idea to carry a backup.

When I first started out in LE a huge light with 4 D-Cell batteries was the norm. Those old lights were used more as a baton than to light the sidewalk. Now the Streamlight Ultrastinger is on scene. Small enough to fit in your back pocket, yet bright enough to punch a hole in the sky with white light. The finest light on the market!

I have had this light for several years now, and i LOVE IT, It has never let me down, even when i dropped it off the side of the boat into 48' of brown salt water, Thankfully the dive team was there and recovered it for me, Diver said that the light was easy to find cause it was still lit up on the bottom of the river!!!!

This flashlight works great! Its super bright and has awesome range, its tough and re-chargable (either from a convetional wall socket or from your car). It's not big and bulky like the mag-light, but still stands up to anything. The only negative is that the bulbs can get pricy if you ever have to replace it.

Great light. Might as well be a spot light...this sucker is bright. I wish it was small enough to carry on my duty belt. I did this for a while, and replaced it with the Stinger LED. I keep the Ultra Stinger in the car as a back up.

This is my go-to light for searches out doors... I take my LED DS Stinger out of the open holster and put it in my 511 TDU side pocket next to the extra AR mag. The Ultra slips right in where the LED was. I have a TLR-1 tac light on my Glock so I now have 3 sources of light and still have a hand free. Always carry one more source of light then you think you need at night.

I have had this flashlight for approximately one year. I am very impressed with the amount of light that the flahlight omits in darkness. About 8 months after using the light the on/off switch began to stick. Could not turn light on or off. Switch still sticks, but I am still using the light.

Very bright. I've heard complaints from officers with larger hands about the "small" grip area for holding it. The narrow circumference of the grip does take a bit more to tuck it under your arm and hold it while keeping hands occupied.

This is a pretty awesome light, alot brighter then the average stream light. The first time I used it was in a truck yard pointing out a breech in the parimeter fence, the reaction I got from a few truckers standing by was " HOLY SH*T !! What is that?" I would have to say yet smaller then the average streamlight, you still have that security of being able to smack someone if ya gotta.

Worked hoot shift for years. Love this light. You can almost sunburn your perp. With the correct training, can be utilized defensively. I carried one on my duty belt and another in my patrol unit for those long searches or foot pursuits. The bulb lasts a long time and is affordable if you do have to replace it. This light can take abuse and keep on performing.

Very good quality flashlight. I have had for past 3 years and it gets used a lot. I have dropped tons of times and it holds up well. It does use bulbs, I have gone through about 5 since I have owned. Flashlight is super bright and battery lasts forever. The only weak spot is the switch, although I havent had to replace, it gives me trouble once in awhile. I saved a lot of money by ordering throough Amazon.

I love it! I have had mine for several years now and it has performed flawlessly. There is not much more I can add to the long list of kudos written in prior reviews. I have dropped it several times in the roadway with no ill effects. However, spend the $10-$15 dollars and have a spare light in your kitbag in case an impact damages the bulb (or the bulb burns outs - it says 30-hour life. I cannot attest to the accuracy of that, but I have only had to change the bulb twice since I received it and I work swings).
The only drawback that I have with it is the small switch. During the winter, with gloves on, it is difficult to feel the switch in a hurry. I will find the button with my finger and keep it there before I walk into a situation that may require its use. And when I need it -- 75,000 candlepower!

I have used this flashlight for about two years now. I work 3rd shift, so it has came in handy a number of times. The flashlight being long really helps a lot. During Traffic Stops, you can hold it underneath your right arm and you are able to keep both hands free. The flashlight also is very bright and at times it's almost like using a spotlight rather than a flashlight.

I've used both the "regular" Stinger and this product. I Don't think the increase in price for this product is worth it. The increase in illumination over the standard Stinger is minimal. Plus this unit is awkward to carry in a belt ring or on a duty belt.
