| Description: | Security Equipment Corporation, a family owned and operated manufacturer, distributes its products worldwide. In our 32+ years of existence, our core products have always been Aerosol Irritant Projectors (AIP): Law Enforcement AIP, Civilian Self-Defense Sprays, and Animal Attack Deterrent Sprays. Prior to the Montreal Protocol, we were a large producer of Halon Fire Extinguishers. We launched our law enforcement product line in 1997, and we released our new SABRE DECON product in 2007. After numerous requests, market research and testing, we decided to introduce SABRE Law Enforcement Aerosol Projectors in 1997. Agencies worldwide have switched to SABRE products because of SABRE’s product performance, independent laboratory testing, quality control, HPLC guarantee, training and service. Security Equipment Corporation now operates four (4) aerosol lines dedicated exclusively to producing aerosol irritant projectors. We believe our exclusive focus on this category, our 32+ years experience and commitment to producing the best AIP possible; have made Security Equipment Corporation the global leader in our respected category. Ultimately, most agencies have switched to our products due to performance and safety aspects. SABRE provide officers with the best AIP and the best chance to gain control of “goal oriented”, alcohol and/or drug induced and emotionally disturbed subjects without the need to escalate to a higher level of force. Our commitment to research and testing will only allow us to improve on our superior products as we move forward. Our ultimate goal is officer safety and agency satisfaction. |

2,000,000 SHU's with effects lasting from 8 - 17 minutes (severe), and an ultraviolet dye marking your subject. There isn't much not to like about the Sabre Red line. We carry the MK-4 size stream, and have tried praying from the can while it was upside down and held at almost every angle with no issues or failures. This is some of the best defense spray on the market and would trust it everyday, all day.

I just recently switched over to this product. I have already tested it and is much better than the first defense spray that I did have. It dosnt deserve a 5 star for two reasons. There are betters (fox) and it isnt going to stop someone determined.

Great OC. Since our wonderful department cannot afford to issue all of it's officers their own bottle of hot sauce, it stands up to the wear and tear of multiple officers everyday. Very reliable, doesn't separate like some OC mixtures, and very effective. We would all rather have tasers, but this is a close second place.

I have used this spray and is standard issue in facility. Enjoy the stream version vs. foam. Would like to upgrade to inverted version that can be used upside down. Stings like hell even on skin with cross contamination. Even the worse inmates hate this.

I carried Sabre mark 3 stream on my belt while working as a Dention Deputy. This pepper spray definitely has strong stopping power.

had to get sprayed with this stuff to carry it. if i had it my way i wouldn't carry it. didn't feel it until about 20 seconds later, and yeah it can stop some body if you've got a few minutes to spare. to me its more like "i told u so" kinda thing. and after a minute or so it hurts like hell. for me the severity was about 45 minutes, but there was praticaly no reactivation.

Not enough stars to rate this stuff. We had to get sprayed with this in our acadamey. It was a brutal, viscious nightmare. With 1.33 Major Capsaicinoids and 2million SHU's this stuff is about 4 times hotter than other brands. I hate it so much because it works so well!

I use the water based, cone shaped spray. It works wonders on dogs and myself....haven't tried it on other humans yet.

Liquid hell. Works for passive resistance but somebody whose really pissed off just makes them even more mad. Then you and your buddies got to wrestle around on the ground and get the crap all over you. Taser is much more effective.
