My favorite 12 GA auto. This gun is fun to shoot. If you don't have to buy the ammo I suggest practice, practice & practice some more.

I've had nothing but success with this weapon in training. I've never had to use it on a call but I wouldn't turn this thing down for anything when having to enter a room.

Awesome weapon. The academy my department uses has actually forced our officers to use Remington870's during qualifications. They don't believe a local Sheriff's Office would issue this! Easy to shoot, easy to maintain, and fun to shoot.

i used one in iraq to breach door hinges and door knobs. great piece of gear.

Good solid shotgun when using Highbase loads. The only real downside is trying to practice with light birdshot.

This is my duty gun (All of our PD's shotguns are 14" 870's). It's quick and good in tight places. As far as not being good with birdshot for practice, I use what I will shoot for practice. I must have got taken because mine cost a lot more than $500.

The only faught of this weapon is you have to use a 3" magnum load, anything less and you stand a good chance of the weapon failing to chamber the next round. Practice this in training so you don't learn about it the hard way.

It gives a good bang for the buck.

I have the Benelli M3 auto/pump shotgun. It only takes 1 second to go from auto to pump for low recoil rounds or 1 second from pump to auto for your good ammo when you really want to put some heat on your target. The Benelli M3 is the best shotgun I have ever had to suit all of my needs.

FIRED THIS ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO IN THE ACADEMY AND LOVED IT. THERE WAS ALMOST NO RECOIL EVEN WHEN FIRED FULLY AUTOMATIC.

Beautiful and reliable tactical shotgun. Minimum recoil, fast target aquisition and easy to combat load. The pistol grip makes this shotgun a breeze to point and shoot.

Benelli is always top quality. Great offensive and defensive weapon.

Great shotgun, but if you expect to shoot it like Tom Knapp or any compition shooter with out using really heavy slug or buckshot loads, expect to send it off for some gunsmithing love.

Nice weapon

Nice to have weapon for Special Response Team and CQB.

It is like having a canon on your side the best shot gun for swat. The only problem is older less lethal rounds won't cycle the weapon on its own

Because it kicks butt and it makes me feel like a real woman!

One of the best shotguns that I have ever owned. It can take a fall or toss and function without any issues. It is light weight and fast and with the push of a button you can quick load bean bag rounds without theworry of unloading the entire weapon or mis-loading a lethal round.

I donot have the CQB model listed, my Benelli has a 20 inch barrel with rifle sights and a SureFire forend. With a skeet choke and rfile sights, this set up works great with slugs and buckshot. Being an inertia operated autoloader makes it more particular about ammo, but with full power loads it is very reliable.

great weapon, fits good and love the sites they put on them

My dad has one with a wood stock that was the same model used in the vietnam war. In almost any situation where I would need firepower this would be the firearm of my chooseing. Light and reliable (though it has alot of kick on a 15 yearold kid) overall great gun.

Benelli, enough said. I have been a long time fan of the Remington 870 til I owned my first Benelli. I have several Benelli's now and swap between the M1 and my Super Nova for duty use.

I don't have one but I did try one out. I think every Law Enforcement Officer should have a Benelli.

I have one and it is great. There was a learning curve after having an 870 for years. Shoots good, very little recoil.

Issued equipment. I've used many times. These are great for shotguns. They are very accurate especially with slugs. They are easy to shoot with heavy loads. The tac light is a must. Don't underestimate the value of that on a shotgun. This gun can run extremely fast!

Cons: Like all auto shotguns you need to use heavy loads with a good amount of recoil. Do not use light recoil rounds or you will have a malfunction. The good news is that malfunctions aren't that hard to fix with this weapon.
Stocks are too long for smaller people. Especially with armor on. They need to put an adjustable stock on all of these. (If that's possible? Might not be)

with light grain shot (bird shot) it has trouble re-chambering rounds. When used with heavier grain rounds the weapon is AMAZING! High quality and very easy to maintain! Almost no cleaning needed!

LOVE IT!! Fastest autoloader EVER made by anyone. I prefer the straight stock, but that's just me. And best of luck finding one at the price shown here...try maybe double that. This is great for slugs and 3.5 inch Magnums. A real shoulder fired cannon.
