I have tried others because I didn't want to spend the big bucks. But I always ended up with leg and back pain. The others also wore out really quick.
I broke down and spent the $200+ on a set of Danners 13 years ago, and will never go back to any other boot. I have had to re-sole the boots a couple of times, but the rest of the boot is still in great condition. Other then a couple of deep cuts from kicking some hard objects, the boots look new.

Best boots I have ever owned. Don't buy cheaper boots. These boots are comfortable, light and keep your feet dry.

Excellent boot so far! I've been wearing these boots for over a month now and so far love them. They took a couple days to break in, as done any good boot made of real leather. The zipper seems very durable unlike my last couple pair of Magnum boots. These boots are also very nice looking and present a very professional appearance. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a good REAL pair of boots!

This boot by far is the best one I have ever purchased. Over the past ten years I have owned a lot of different boots and this one has held the best. As a K9 Officer, I'm constantly running through mud and water. Where most boots only last about a year this one keeps going.

Got my first pair of Danner's last year. I had been using 5.11 before that and they always fell apart on me and I went throug a pair a year. The Danner's are holding up great and look great when polished up. I will buy them again!
