| Description: | The TASER X26C uses a replaceable TASER cartridge containing compressed nitrogen to deploy two small probes that are attached to the TASER X26C by insulated conductive wires with a maximum length of 15 feet (4.5 meters). The TASER X26C transmits electrical pulses through the wires and into the body affecting the sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous system. The energy can penetrate up to two cumulative inches of clothing, or one inch per probe. |

This is a great tool. The difference between the X-26 that law enforcement uses and the C model is not that much. The range is 15' for the C compared to 35' for the LEO model. I find I get a much higher compliance level when the fugitive thinks he might get tased. They all know you won't shoot them if they run, But tase them we will!

Taser is one of the best tools for LEO's. Its reputation is enough for most criminals to comply.

The laser sight is usually enough for compliance.

Great taser. This is a perfect tool for protection for those that do not like to carry "lethal" weapons. You can maintain a dose of voltage for up to 1 1/2 minutes. This give you penty of time to get away while the A$$-H$$$ us getting the voltage ride.

The difference between the LE Model and Civilian model is NOT the distance of the projectiles. That can be remedied simply by purchasing the cartridges. The MAIN difference is the supply of charge and the duration of the charge given to the suspect. The LE model generates more current each time the trigger is pulled and the initial last 5 seconds so that officers can subdue and then cuff the suspect. The civilian models are designed to be used and then "run away" as they produce charges lasting 15 - 30 seconds depending on the type of civilian taser purchased. There is a lot more to the tasers but they are a phenominal tool for both LE and Security and the compliance is almost immediate when a suspect recognizes the taser.

I like the x-26 better than the m-26 because it's obvious size, weight, and the fact that it also has L.E.D. lights to help illuminate your target. The L.E.D.s combined with the laser make this thing even more intimidating when looking at the buisiness end, that is of course if you have time to admire it before I deploy it.

I like this product light weight but has a hard punch. I love the 25 foot cartridge gives you that extra reach.
