Okay, so it's old school. But it works! One round from this 'ol reliable going down range, and you KNOW whomever is on the other end is going to be uncomfortable.

Good, solid, reliable weapon. Also works in all extreme weather. Easy to care for and practice marksmanship with.

Great gun, don't carry it on duty, but is fun to shoot on the weekend.

Nice for the range , but the bad guys have the advantage these days. Need more power & rounds on the street. I have a 5 shooter S&W snub for off duty.

This is the side arm I was issued back in 1971 when I first started in LE and it is the weapon that I carried when I retired in 1985 under disability. The firearm itself is flawless. It fires 6 times as fast as you can pull the trigger and will fire every time as long as the ammo is serviceable. It is accurate, easy to use left or right handed and very safe but simple to use. My ONLY objection to this weapon is the cal. The .38 simply is not powerful enough to penetrate much and the knockdown power is also lacking. It is also nice to have more than 6 round to use before reloading just in case.

My first duty weapon. (Yeah I'm old) The Sgt said go to the closet and pick one out. He then handed me six rounds, a badge, and a set of cuffs and said "go to work kid" No lie. This is a fantastic weapon. Reliable, sturdy, durable. I'd love to own another one.

I just bought one of these last month and love it. Too big for my ankle holster, of course, but that's what they make snub-nosed revolvers for. I never have to fear coming across a perp carrying a little 22 in the dark when I have this baby!

I know it's old, and a little less "sexy," but it's trouble-free, and ready when I need it. And, it's big and nasty-looking, enough to discourage stupidity from a perp. I'm around mud a lot, and it's easy to clean too.
