This has great range and accuracy when measuring speed of vehicles going in the same or opposite direction.

The radar is well deserving. You can switch from largest to fastest on approaching vehicles.

Well, I suprised that u were npt satisfied with Kustom quality. I am also surprised that they did not make it right. Although I admitt I am brain washed I have been loyal to Kustom for a long time. It was MPH I could not warm upto.

I am a radar instructor and have tested multiple radar systems and devices. The Multi Directional Golden Eagle Dual antennae system is the best one on the market. Any problems with any Kustom product and they fix it....asap.

I got a new Eagle II in August in my new Charger. Excellent radar. Had used Decatur Gen II for several years. The Eagle II is probably the best user friendly radar since the KR10! The range is great and same lane has better range and works better than the GEN II. Only problem I've had is getting used to the remote...the buttons aren't the same!
I've used Kustom radars more than any other brand. The first Kustom Radar I used was a MR7, then KR11, then KR10SP, and finally a Pro1000 before switching to the Decatur Gen II.

As a radar instructor, I highly recommend the Kustom Signals Golden Eagle line of radar units. I have been using Kustom Signals radars since the early 1990's and they are very well made and dependable. I have the opportunity to see many different brands and models of radars while teaching radar class, and the Golden Eagle product is the one unit I would definitely recommend. It is versatile and can be mounted with a detachable faceplate and Kustom Signals makes a weather-proof unit that can be mounted on a motorcycle. I would further recommend the Pro-1000 when same direction mode is not necessary for your enforcement efforts.

My least favorite radar, the Stalker spoiled me, the only thing the Eagle II has on the Stalker is the range. I will never get away from Stalker.

Ive had the KR10, the Falcon and eagle and this by far the best so far. However in my area, sometimes in moving mode, the target speed and patrol speed combines. That can be a minor problem.

I got this unit a few months ago and had the Talon II before it. I love the added features of same direction and the rear antenea. I do however have way more problems with false readings and I'm trying to get used to that.

LOVE IT! Picks up from way out and gives accurate readings. Few, if any, radar effects. Wouldn't trade it for anything. You can even get accurate readings in mobile mode from a target in front or behind you that's going in the same direction.

I am in my second car that has a Golden Eagle II unit in it. First car, the rear antenna was really finicky, but no problems with new set. I LOVE the same lane range, as well as the approaching or receding stationary modes. More than a year using the type, and I still like it alot. All in all, a good set.
