I would say just go to http://www.taurususa.com and watch the video for yourselves, and you'll see what I mean. I personally own one and I have had nothing but pleasure in firing it.

Sold mine about a month ago. A good weapon although mine was very picky about the choices of ammo. It was a very powerfull 45. Descent accuracy but i am comparing this to my Rueger 45. I also own a Springfieldxd 45, which this weapon is no comparrison to. I own a Taurus pt 92 and have never had an ammo issue with it. Oh yeah I did tell the new owner not to shoot cheap ammo. or it would jam.

WOULD BE NICE IF THEY OFFERED A 9MM CONVERSION FOR VERSATILITY.

pretty sweet weapon. i just bought mine afew days ago and proceeded to put 100 rounds through it with no problem. its a .40 cal and quite a pleasure to fire. i had heard alot of negative things about the taurus weapons but i suspect that this was more of a personal preference than actual objective statements. its a great weapon and for the price you cant beat it!

I use this gun on duty and have fired it about 600 times(none while on duty, of course). I have never had a misfire or jam. The gun is 100% accurate too. It has a great feel to it and is not too heavy. It also sounds like a hand cannon when it goes off. I love that. My department issues Glocks and lately I have been noticing that they are jamming more frequently during target practice. The 24/7 also has several features that are very nice. Check out his gun and you won't be disappointed. The gun we are reviewing here is the 24/7 pro .45. There are reviews here saying things about the .40, this is a much improved model and can't be compared to the .40's.

I bought this weapon being a little skeptical at first due to previous warnings about Taurus weapons. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. It had great out of the box accuracy, was decently priced and I have yet to have any jams with it (I have put approx. 800-1000 rounds through it)

I only gave this 4 stars when I handled it in the store the other day. I had one problem and that was with the slide release. My finger simply missed it. Even when I handled the Beretta 92 for the first time that did not happen. Otherwise I really enjoyed the grips and the feel and balance of the weapon. My buddy was with me and he said the same thing about the slide release.

This weapon is a classic example or "Get what you pay for". Anyone used to press firing a Glock needs to watch out. If the trigger is back even alittle bit when the saftey is engaged the gun is not acctually safe and will AD if with the slightest jolt or bump to the trigger. Taurus knows about the problem and will not fix it, at least untill they get sued. This is true for the Millenium series as well.

I have put over 500 rounds through this gun in less than 2 months. I absolutely love shooting it! The balance is perfect and it is dependable shot after shot. If you don't own one, you should!

Great firearm. I had PT 24/7 .40 for around 3 years. I used it for academy and on duty. I had 2 rounds of PMC ammo jam, and that was it out of ALOT of rounds. The department issued a Sig226, so I sold for a smaller compact handgun. Great gun overall.

This is an outstanding firearm I have put several hundred rounds through it without fail and it eats anything I feed it no problem. Also I have added a hogue grip and a Glock tactical light which fit perfect on its tactical rail.

Nice weapon. I have a 24/7-40BP-15. I like this weapon.....My only complaint is the lack of a decock option. Waiting for new 8-series to become available.

Great gun but does not like trash ammo so if you are going to practice or qualify, take your own, not what agency may give. I guess when you have a high end product it expects you to use high end ammo. Love the weapon, it's small enough for my hands....120pounds and I have a small hand. Also use as weapon of choice for alternative weapons. Like the firing better than my duty weapon. Love it.

I own a Taurus PT92 AF chambered in 9mm Para. and have run well over 2500-3500 rounds through it without even a single AD, misfire, or jam. I have since purchased a PT 24/7 Pro in .45 ACP. I cannot begin to describe its comfort, accuracy, quality for the dollar, and overall enjoyment. I have only one issue and that is the grips not being rubber. There is not a single con to using and owning this sidearm. Anyone who has used a Glock, stop. This is your new partner for LIFE!!!

I own the 24/7 OSS 45 and the 24/7 Pro 9mm and love both of them. They are amazing. I would not trade either of them for anything. I was trained on glocks and I do not like them, They constantly feel like im aiming down, where as the 24/7's are dead on.

I carry this as a duty weapon. I love this gun. I haven't had a promblem one out of it. I carry the 24/7 pro 9mm. Haven't had any problem with any type ammo that I put through it. I've used 115 grain fmj's, 165 fmj ball, 165 hollow point. The only down side, is the long trigger drawl. Other than that, I love this gun.

I own this in .40 Cal. I only put a couple magazines through it before handing it over to the wife. She loves it, too. The ability to repeatedly hit a dud round until it goes off is amazing. The trigger-pull is smooth as silk. There are NO indications of when it will go off, unlike the Berettas I deal with at work. It's still a toss-up on if I like my .40 or Walther P-99 better.

I own this in .40 caliber. It is a great weapon and for a really good price. It doesn't like cheap ammo but will fire like a dream with the higher quality ammo. I love it and it looks & feels awesome.

I own this in a 9 mm. It has a great feel in your hand and is well balanced. I find the accuracy to be on target. As like one of the other reviewers, I too love the hand cannon sound. While taking a C&C course I had others asking if it was a 45 due to the beastly sound. The fact that it will continue to fire the next round, in the event of a miss fire, simply by another squeeze of the trigger is priceless. Finally, the price was unbeatable.
