This thing is supper sharp! kind of difficult to handle though. The hole in the grip seems to be for your ring-finger having the rest of the grip wrap around your pinkie finger. I have found that you can easily secure it to the body side of your mag holder on your duty belt with the cord included. It is nearly impossible to see if tucked in correctly. I would however like some ideal on what Ka-Bar had in mind for how to use this properly.

It's sharp as a razor and stays that way. You can wear it around your neck or lace it into your boot. It's light and handy and there is no reason not to have one.

I bought as a addition to my Ka Bar collection but it turns out it is a very good seatbelt cutter! lol. but it is sharp as hell and stays that way i love it!

Great little back up, I use it for running and laced in my work shoes. A small knife is better then no knife. Has a variety of uses too.
