Beretta Handguns are the best, most reliable and most functional firearms I have ever carried. As a Certified Firearm's Instructor, I highly recommend this weapon to anyone who is looking for a high quality, reasonable prices service or personal handgun.

My Department will soon be rolling out these guns as the official duty weapon. I already own one and love the way it shoots. I have several Beretta firearms and have yet to be disappointed. !

Large MN agency pulled thes guns off their list. Small particles can prevent the barrell from rotating and it will jam. Because of this they said that the guns are "unreliable". All my guns are Beretta's but this one needs more tuning.

This is just like my CX4 storm. Very reliable right out of the box. Have fired over 500 rounds and not one bit of trouble. Very nice weapon and I like it better then my Ruger P85.

Love the Beretta name. The PX$ storm seems to be a great contender in the new age of firearms. I am looking at this weapon for my new duty weapon. It fit perfectlly in my hand, more so than any other pistol i have fired in the past. About the rotating barrel designed, i feel that is a double-edged sword. On the good side, it helps absorb recoil and boost accuracy, however, on the down side, it has more moving parts which can be jammed by small debris. potentially make a good back up weapon.

My department is switching to the Px4 from our 96G within the next month. The only problem that I ever had with the 96G was the stiff double action on the trigger for the first round. While I haven't gotten to fire our new Px4, I did go to Cabela's and dry fire one. The double action on the trigger seems much smoother and lighter. I'm hoping for the best, but it seems that this one will not disappoint.

Very accurate weapon. I like the fact that the backstraps are interchangeable to adjust to different hand size. Our department has issued this weapon and everyone seems to like it better than the 92F. I also like the new Beretta Carbine we have put them in our cars as well...great products best Beretta's I have shot with.

I perchased this one for $485.00, there was a great sale that week. I deceided to get the PX4 because out of the 15 men that just perchased new weapons, eleven of them got this one. Twelve is you count me. It's light weight and has a great grip. After I took it out for a test drive, I was in love. Everyone who ask about it, I sell it, is impressed. Easy to handle, easy to shot, and easy to clean.

Unfortunately my department only issues the double action model of this weapon. I am never impressed by the trigger pull on a double action only handgun, but while this weapon has a heavy pull, it's accuracy is top-notch.

I own this one and I love everything about it acuracy, size, and fits perfect on my hands. I go to the range two time a month and unload 8 to 10 mags at the time and never had any problems, in the other hand my friend is a police oficer, and he bought just before me and his jam once in a while. I think overall this is a great gun, may be when it came out had some defects.

I have had My PX4 Storm since I turned 21. I have gone to the range at least once a month since then. My px4 has had over 20,000 rounds spent through it. I have NEVER had a jam. I have NEVER had a malfunction. and I have NEVER had any doubts. this weapon is the future. it is adjustable, and it is as accurate as it's user. It field strips easily for easy cleaning. I would suggest this weapon to anyone who is wanting to learn how to shoot. There is virtually no recoil. If you dont believe me then try shooting a full sized 1911 and then pick up the PX4. You'll see what I mean. I personally will never be getting rid of mine. I doubt if you have one that you would get rid of yours either.

My department went to this weapon from the 96G. Not a accurate as the 96G but has a little better trigger. No problem with this gun until this evening. I am careful to keep my firearms clean and I use teflon lube on all my semi autos. This evening I was going out to shoot one of my .45's and decided to take out the PX4 as I have a lot of ammo for it and I haven't shot it since June. Well I unloaded my gun and then attempted to load it with old duty ammo. The slide did not slide full forward. I bumped it closed and bang. Next round also did not completely feed leaving the slide adjar. I quick check found the gun clean and lubed. I was not able to fire a full magazine. The failure of the slide going full forward would occur every couple of rounds. I suffered throught fifty rounds. I took the gun back to the house for a complete cleaning. Back to the range it functioned without a problem. One of the other posts mentions the possibility of somthing preventing the barrel from rotating. I don't know if this was the problem but I don't like it. I carry a BUG which I also carry off duty. I pulled it out and it functioned flawlessly after being in an ankle holster for three months. Thank goodness my dept. allows a BUG because after tonight I won't trust my PX4.

I Love It! I had the opportunity to go to the Beretta Armorer's School and just love this weapon. Right out of the box, my .45ACP is a straight shooter and seems very reliable. As a major Glock fan, I have not given up my loyalty to the Austrian made guns. But there is certainly room on the shelf in my safe and at the range for both my Beretta 96 and my new PX4 Storm.

I have tried the older Smith and Wesson pistol, the Beretta 92 and the PX4 Storm (I carry the storm as a duty pistol) and I have to say the 92 is more accurate and has a better trigger pull. The PX4 D has 9.9 lbs of trigger pull on the double action only model. This leaves a lot of room for pistol movement on the first shot. Once the pistol is fitted with the proper grip size the trigger is a lot more manageable. Our agency requires us to qualify at 25 yards and this pistol is as accurate at 25 yards as at 3 yards. I have had one stoppage in 2000 rounds and this was as a result of a bent mag. Pistol is simple to clean and reassemble. I carry the 9mm version with the short barrel and this is a lighter pistol than the S&W and has a larger mag capacity. I am satisfied with this pistol.

As a dispatcher, we are not armed .. However, I do have my carry permit and this is what I carry. A Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm, It fits my hand, its easy to clean and I know if put in a situation to have to use it. It will not let me down. I had a Karr cw9 before this one, HATED it. This is a very female friendly carry weapon. My Karr 9mm hurt the palm of my hand after about 50 rounds, I can shoot this one all day without any problems. My husnabd carries a Beretta M9. I fell in love with that one but decided it was a little bigger of a carry weapon than I needed. The PX4 is just the right size. Easy concealment.

The rotating barrel is awesome also. I will recommend this handgun to anyone or any department. They even have a sub im goin to get my wife.

I have owned this gun for over a year now and I have plenty to say about it. However, the bottom line is - i would not trust my life to this gun. Period. I use it only for target practice at this point and plan to trade it in soon. While it has a great design, awesome functions, and comfort to boot; the reliablilty of this gun is ultimately very poor. It's not only very picky about the ammo you put in it, but the ejector slot is completely unreliable and prone to jamming. If you own this gun and fire it regularly, be forwarned: this gun will jam sometime in your life. Pray it is not in a life or death situation. Better yet, just get a different gun and spare yourself the worry.

Here at the college we are already using the CX4 and it is the best carbine I have ever had the pleasure of using. Very versatile the pistol mags are interchangable and it is just down right fun to shoot.

The PX4 STORM employs the same safety features as the USAF Security Forces 9mm, but the .40 packs a little more punch from a lighter and tougher polymer frame. After adjusting the pistol grip and upgrading to the tritium night sights this is my new companion.

I have to say I was not a big fan of this brand, I always preferred the Germanic ones like Sig, Glock or Walther, but I have to recognize that after shooting this gun about 1000 rounds with the worst ammo available, I got not even one malfunction the accuracy of the weapon was outstanding and the recoil is lighter than most of the guns. all in all a great weapon, the down side is that itis a little bit beefy and heavier than the glock or walther of the same size.

I have this gun at home. not my service weapon, but wish it was. Beretta makes dependable guns. When i was in the Corps we had the M9 9mm beretta, not big with stopping power, but the gun performed no matter what. this Px4 storm i have in 40 for home protection, its safe and easy for most beginners to use, that rotating barrel is amazing on reducing recoil and its amazingly very accurate and comfortable in the hand. the gun pretty much shoots itself. good job Italy, we carry the H&K p200 for border patrol. not a bad gun, but not the best gun. I have had a few problems with it and always carry my M4 so i can feel comfortable knowing i have back up to my side arm. two is one and one is none.
