remarkably similar to the dodge magnum.

WE have 2008 cruisers and they are having problems within the first 2000 miles. Transmissions and the water fan switch goin out...Oh yeah, the pic here is a magnum!

I took a look at the Ford web site and this is not the 2008 Ford Interceptor. but if you do follow the link Crash put up, you will see that Ford has implemented balistic panels on there doors.

That's what the Interceptor looks like. Seems the same as the earlier models. And we wonder why gas is expensive, because even the cops drive gas guzzlers :-P

I just picked up my brand new, out of the box, 2008 Ford "POS" CVPI and it sure don't look like this!

This car is slow off of the jump but handles better than its 2003 and up series. Vehicle is quick at about 100 to 125. I would recommend you get the full package in this vehicle. Mine did not come with cruise control.

I want one of each...sawed in half and reassembled to be 2 cars in one...that's right - 2 cars in one-only to be rivaled by the hummer - durango hybrid.

Good Car

Good car. Not use to driving one that doesn't already have over 100,000 miles! I just wish I could figure out how to get the thing to quit dinging due to the key being in the ignition!!! So much for noise discipline!

I just got my new 08 Crown Vic and I could tell you this is not a Crown Vic. This is the Dodge Magnum.

Dont have one but have heard they are horrible on gas.

Just turned over 5000K on mine. Seems faster than my 2005 and the 17" wheels provide much better handling. This is the only way to go...

My PD just switched back from the Impala, I was a little concerned about performance in the snow. It handled good, still would like a SUV. There is a lot more room.

Is that the official picture? It does resemble a Magnum, even the front grill looks Dodge-like. Not sure I like the design, I've always liked the more recent Crown Vics.

I have driven Crown Vics for years. Only bad thing is they have terrible traction in snowy weather in Indiana.

Terrible traction, reliably lackluster dealer service, poor transmissions and headlights that are far from adequate. Pick anything but the Crown Vic.

I haven't seen this kind of vehicle around South Carolina much, but I'm sure there is one around, just hiding lol. It does look a lot like the dodge magnum, but i think it will be a distinguish vehicle from all the other crown victorias in the nation now.

Some one doesn't know their cars that is a Dodge magnum. SWEET lines and looks awsome with the Police markings

Rear wheel drive is easier to drive quickly. The CV is very strong with a rigid frame and excellent rear end protection as demonstrated by rear-end crash tests. Mileage is not the best, however.

I love my crown vic. Nothin says 5/0 like the CV

Obviously this is a pic of a magnum. But my dept has all 08 Vics and they have their problems but they are a heck of a lot better then the Impalas that we had.lol will never make that mistake again.

This would be a great pursuit car or K9 like some people suggested. Me personaly, I woulg put a ram grill on the fron for PIT manuvers. I think the field Supervisor should ride this.

Its a dodge. We use them with our interdiction team with the sheriff office. It has a lot of room for your K-9

i daont think we should have crusers that look like mini vans keep the originals
