My wife got me started on mp3 players about 4 years ago with an iRiver. Since then I have finally settled on the ipods as some of the best mp3 players out there. Only complaint is the initial cost and that they are fragile, although I must admit that I am pretty rough on my equipment. They need to come out with one that is waterproof without having to purchase an expensive bulky case. I currently have a nano and although it is small I have quit carrying my laptop on the plane anymore because I download tv shows to my ipod and watch them on the plane and then slip the ipod back into my pocket. No more bulky laptop and worries about battery power etc. I've got my an eye on an itouch now, just hard to throw down $400 for the 16gb version.
