I picked up one of these for a bear gun and I am impressed with it. I have shot .44 in the past and thought the .480 might have significantly more kick, but it handles very well. Only complainant is about lack of ammo availability at major retail stores. Plus the thing is a hog, I would like to have the barrel cut down but that gunsmith would charge about as much as the gun is worth. Picked up a chest holster so it can be carried with a backpack. Carried it on a 42 mile hike and you never really notice it is there (until it's time to take the backpack on and off).
