    1st review

I've had one of these for years, mostly shooting .38 Specials out of it, but it's the first pistol I'd ever choose to defend my life should the situation call for it.

This was my first duty weapon. If I was still authorized to carry a revolver, this is definitely what I'd be strappin' on every day.

This was the first hand gun I ever purchased the exception is the one I own is the 7-shot Model 686-4" .357 Mag. smooth shooting, can do db and trip taps all day with little to no muzzle jump.

1000 rounds and as beautiful as the day we brought her home.
Completely reliable point and shoot accuracy.

This was my 2nd weapon that I had during my Law Enforcement career. Had no problems with the weapon. Smooth shooting weapon.

Definitley a classic. Dependable, durable, accurate, powerful. I have Pachmayer grips on mine, the Hogue grips get "tacky" feeling after a while and are solvent sensitive. When I started in the late 80's everyone carried these, they were the workhorse of policework at the time.

This is the ultimate duty wheel gun. Period.
