The uniform shirt style outer carrier by JG Uniforms of Chicago is very well made. The material is beefy and all of the stitching is rock-solid. The style and color blend perfectly with a midnight navy uniform, but it’s also available in myriad other colors to match whatever your department wears. The styling passes what my partner termed the "10 foot rule," that is to say that you can't tell someone has one on unless you are within 10 feet of them. More than the quality of the construction, though, JG has fantastic customer service. My partner and I had ours tweaked a little to accommodate the way we like to wear our vests. I know others who have had holsters for their BUG sewn inside, others have had TASER holsters, mag pouches and a whole slew of other pockets sewn on.
