Let me just say that in over 20 years of riding police motorcycles, this one is far and away the most briliantly engineered piece of machinery I've ever had the pleasure to operate. I've ridden several different models of police bike, including the Kawasaki KZ-1000 and the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, and the BMW RT-1200 P outhandles, outaccelerates, outmaneuvers, outstops, and outperforms them all hands down. I've never felt more one with a machine than I am when I'm flying down the highway on this fierce dragon.

Great for the highway. Faster than you can imagine and will stay on a line at 120+mph going down the highway.

This is one sweet ride. I have been on several other motorcycles, but I have never felt as safe as I do while im flying low on this machine. The technology BMW put into this machine far outweighs any other.

THEY CAN MAKE TIGHTER CORNERS THEN A HARLEY AND WEAVE IN AND OUT A TRAFFIC BETER ITS NICE TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT BECAUSE AT LOWES MOTER SPEED WAY IN MAY YOU CAN GET THROUGH TRAFFICE BETTER THAN A HARLEY

I have been riding bmw bikes for my dept. for 3yrs and I love the performance and handling when chasing down a vehicle. Harley is a good cruising bike but, doesn't come close to the bmw's all around performance.

I own a similar model. It kills any harley product. I recomend a test drive next time you are thinking of buying a new bike. You can knock out a thousand miles with ease.
