    1st review

I upgraded from a BlackBerry 7520. I like the new Curve. It has lots of great features the others didnt have, but most importantly, a full type-writer like keyboard. The keys are smaller, but with practice you can get used to it. It has digital camera and video capabilities, as well as Sprint TV, GPS navagations, and all the other bells and whistles. The only thing I miss, is the PTT/Direct Connect function of my old model. Much smaller and wearer freindly!

I purchased a Curve a few weeks ago. I needed to make a phone call in a hurry and had a hard time finding the numbers because it's a QWERTY keyboard. Although I loved the bells and whistles I guess I'm just not busy enough to use all of its technology to the fullest extent... I returned it for and LG Scoop, which I adore!!

I had problems with my Blackberry Pearl. I was given the Curve and I like it so far. It took time getting used to the Qwery pad.

I enjoy this phone and it meets both my productivity needs and my media needs. Occasionally it freezes and it is not very durable. The smallest shock can really send this phone completely out of wack. If I lost or broke this phone, I would not buy another one, but I will not go buy another one right now for no reason.

This is a nice phone, like the full keyboard, all the extra stuff you can do with it, mainly adding different types of application. Whateveryou do, you'll have a use for this phone.

It is honestly the best phone that I have ever had (and I have a quite a few). I get all my appointments and emails. There is a reason why they call these a 'crack-berry'...I am always using mine.

I LOVE THIS PHONE. THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN SAY BAD ABOUT IT IS THE CRAP EMAILS I GET IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN I AM SLEEPING. OTHER THAN THAT, THE PHONE CAN DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING.

This is the best phone I've ever had as well. I use the calendar feature religiously. If I ever lose it.... Yikes. Great features and it's easy to learn to use. The full QWERTY keyboard is superior to the alternative. My wife uses hers for work and gets all of her email on it and loves it as much as I do.

I like the tools and the abilities that the 8330 curve has, the only thing I don't like is you have to reset by pulling the battery out every couple of days...

I've owned the 8100 pearl and the 8320 curve. both had same problems with freezing all of the time and trackballs sticking. Blackberries are very overrated. I got my T-mobile Dash by HTC and I love it to death. It doesn't have the application abilities but it does have windows mobile and it's great!

I have the 8330 Curve from Verizon. From carrier to carrier you won't find much in the line of difference except for looks or colors, because RIM (Research In Motion), the manufacturer, keeps a tight hold on this.
This is a great phone for immediate information gathering. In addition to the capabilties out of the box, you have a myriad of software applications you can download to the phone. Using Blackberry APPStore application, you can scroll through free and fee-based applications that can help in everything, including wasting time. GPS within each carrier will differ, and right now Verizon is known for not being so robust in this category.
Be careful of the cases you buy, and truly know that the less you pay for a protective case, the worse off you are.

This device does perform quite well in acting as a dial-up connection for on-the-road, it performs just under speeds of cable modem. Excellent performance there for being a cell phone.

The Fact that you get charged $30.00 for the fact that it's a Blackberry (or, it's a manditory data charge...Whatever) Discourages me from ever buying this product ever again. However, the controls are simple to use. And the flash memory disc is easlily removable. I cut off my services with my carrier, but I keep the phone around as a PDA.

My force has issued most frontline officers with this PDA. It is great to be able to read command and control logs whilst on route to the incident. We can also bring up pictures to confirm Ids.
As a phone it works well.
The only downside is that read the battery every so often and I have to reset it
