I have had my 870 Marine for over 9 years. I have carried it with me on duty in a salt water environment that whole time. The weapon has never shown any signs of rust and has never malfunctioned during fire. In my opinion this is the perfect shotgun for law enforcement in a marine environment. Also check out the new 870 XCS Marine Magnum.

I had mine with a hand grip and sling, mad it a lot easier come out a patrol car. Carried 00 Buck and #4 Buck, back in the 80's.. Performed very well....
