This is my current duty holster. I could not ask for a better holster. It has a natural draw to it, which makes it one of the best for officers. Only down side to the holster, is, even thou it is a level II, it is still easy for an offender to pull your gun. For this reason, I rate it at 3 stars.

I want the same holster on duty as I use for the tactical team. That way I have the same muscle memory for both situations. I love this holster, I don’t have to put my light on at night or when we get a tactical call out.

Just recieved this holster thru my Department. Our version has a shield protecting the rotating hood over the back of the thumb break. The retention is great!!! The M3 tac light fits very nice into this holster without deminishing the drawing speed!! I recomend this holster to everyone!!!!!

If they'd make one for the new HK45 that's been out for almost a year I'd be a happy camper. I currently have one for my Glock21/Streamlight TLR-1 and it is a decent holster. The only reason I want another one is because this system is now second nature to me. I have seen the rivets give way from the polymer bracket that holds it to the duty belt... essentially giving the "bad guy" your holster/gun. The guy who "popped" it off the bracket in training is no 400 lb gorilla either. One last thing. Don't listen to Safariland as far as fitting a Glock 21 w/ TLR-1 in their 6280 that they say is compatible. The set screw on the TLR-1 gouged "troughs" into the leather on all 3 that they sent me. I finally had to modify my TRL-1 by switching the stock set screw with a flush fitting carriage bolt. It works but the convenience factor of switching batteries in the field is not so convenient anymore when I have to hunt down my allen wrench.

I have this holster but in a basket weave design, I really like the holster but it does bind a little bit when I draw my weapon.

Has worked great I was a little weary about the flip forward hood but it has grown on me. Wouldn't use any other holster.

despite its added bulk and weight I love this holster because of the fact I have my TLR2 at all times while on duty

It is incredibly important, I believe to have a light always attached to your weapon. Safariland makes an incredibly efficient, secure reliable light bearing holster. I have used this model and also its sister model the 6004 thigh-rig holster, that one for 16 months in combat. Secure to carry, quick to draw from and it accommodates a fighting pistol with a fighting light.

I have this holster in the STX Tac finish, as prescribed by my Department. I added the sentry guard accessory, which adds a lock to the hood. Works well, and once I got used to the different draw (I had been using a Safariland Raptor Lvl 3, probably one of the hardest to get used to), I was drawing just as fast as ever. I've also seen dash cam video of one of my fellow Officers, utilizing this holster with no add-ons, where a suspect was attempting to take his gun. The holster was being pulled down so hard it flapped around when the guy's hand broke free.

I trust my life to this holster. 'Nuff said.
