My only complain about this wepon would be that It seems ever with proper care some components of this handgun corrode a little after a little contact with the elements. I have owned this handgun for 4 years. Only misfed once however. For reliabitity and ease of use definately an A+ only 1 malfunction in 4 years and over 8,000 rounds.. Either side of the box it's a great weapon for duty,backup,or home protection. I have truglo sights and an M6 tac light/laser attetchment on mine.. Great Setup

I love this gun! By far one of the most accurate pistols I have ever shot...I think XD has a way better firearm than Glock has ever had in a polymer pistol!

For a polymer weapon, it performs well. Accurate shooter, reliable and much more refined then a more widely used plastic gun.

Love this gun, never had a malfunction with it. Some parts will rust if exposed to elements, but if you keep up your cleaning its not a problem. Never leave home without it!

Just bought this over a glock it's just going to get bigger, so why not jump on it now!

I've been suprised at the overal ergonomics of it. Everything seems to be in the right place (at least for my hands). Did have a few problems (maybe five or six failures) with ejecting during the first 50 rounds, but seems to have been related to overspray of the melonite on the slide rail. Took it home and did a little polishing and seems to help. Haven't had a single problem since then (500+ rounds fired since). Accuracy seems good to me, but of course I don't get that much range time.

GREAT GUN, bought it about a year ago and it just tears up H&K, Glock, Beretta. Special forces, we us the 1911 by Springfield and XD is one of the best on the market. Will never need anything other then my .45, .40, and 9mm XDs. They are amazing. If your a glock fan, forget what you have been brain washed to think.

EXCELLENT FIREARM! Havent had any problems with it. Very accurate as well as reliable. Can't wait to get my hands on the new Springfield XDm

EXCELLENT PISTOL, NEVER jams, NEVER does anything except shoots straight during any conditions. I've done underwater submerged shootings with this pistol for training and evaluations, shot 100,75,50,50,30,25,20,15,10,5 yds shoots, NEVER does anything but shoots straight and solid. Anyone that states this pistol is anything but perfect is not valid and should not have a gun

LOVE THIS GUN!!! Very very accurate for a handgun. I've done rapid fire drills going through 400 + rounds in one drill not a single jam, even after dropping it in mud, and dirt, still fires like a champ!!! If this gun was a woman, I'd marry it...
