Great product! I have used the taser many times, although mostly in the drive stun capacity.

The Taser is a great tool for officer safety. Our X26 units have the TaserCam attached which provides audio and video anytime the units is powered on.

Love it!!! Most of the time you don't have to use it, just the mere presence and the intimidating laser ususally gets the suspect to comply! Much respect for this weapon!

I love my taser, the presence is enough to make most people think twice before being stupid.

I love the Taser,we have had some problems with the durability of it but Taser has been great with fixing the defective units.

Phenomenal tool! A bit finicky at times, but Taser seems willing to fix any problems a unit may have. Deployed mine recently; brought the suspect under control without further injury or danger.

I love it. We have had the opportunity to use them several times and never a problem. It always amazes my that someone will give up so much faster if they think they are going to get tased.

I have had 3 tazings, and everyone of them was during a foot pursuit, which ended with the bad-guy going to jail. I know they are capable (like anything) of malfunction, but so far they have been a very effective tool, minimizing our Officer injurys and maximizing arrests without incident due to a Tazer being onscene. Just remember... TAZER is another tool, and never use it in place of your sidearm unless there is another officer designated to have his sidearm ready in the event deadly force is neccessary.....

I believe that the X-26 has saved me many a fights and I'm all for that. It seems like it's getting more difficult to fight the bad guys and when they look down at the red dot on their chest it becomes a great convincing tool. I like good tools. I had to buy this one with my own funds and it was money well spent. If I had to do it again, I would. I have not had to use it much, but just the mere present has given me compliance and that's what it's all about.

Best tool that has been made! Very effective! Those who have been hit by the Taser are very cooperative the next time they see it. Those who know what the Taser can do and have seen it used will quickly give up and stop resisting.

I had this product used on me for certification purposes and It's the freakin most effective method of dealing with those hard to deal with people I could have ever imagined. There is no way that I could have ever attacked anyone, at any time, during the tazing.

When you hit with both probes and good spread this device stands up. Taser puts alot into the product and stand behind it 100%

Most likely the best thing for law enforcement since the acceptance of the auto loading pistol. I have never had to use on on duty but know 1st hand the effects of being hit with it. The mere presence of the taser with it's laser and led's is enough to make even the biggest, baddest suspect comply. If he doesn't, he will the next time he see's it.

my department issued this EWD in march with the TASER CAM and it has already payed for itself it is reliable and most situations end as soon as the TASER is drawn from the holster OUTSTANDING PRODUCT!!!!

Best less-than-lethal device I've ever encountered. I have personally used it to end or deter countless physical confrontations. Much more reliable than pepper spray (which officers may remember received just as much negative press when it was introduced as a less-than-lethal option), with no decontamination time like with spray. From a public relations stand-point, no where near as aggressive looking as strikes from a baton. Despite all the recent negative press the Taser has received, I believe in time, the naysayers will recognize the usefullness of the Taser in law enforcement.

The Taser is one of the best tools at our disposal as Detention Officers. I have used it several times to bring a situation under control quickly. The use of the Taser has helped us to avoid injuries to officers and inmates by eliminating the need to get into a Polyester Pile Up when dealing with a disorderly subject. I would also mention the gain in respect inmates have for an officer armed with a Taser. VC.

I wish my department would get some of these. Anyone know how to get a grant or where I can find a grant for some?

This product is issued by our agency. It is very effective and I have seen a difference in the Bad Guys attitude since we started carrying them.

I think this is one of the most effective tools for law enforcement to come out in a long time. I have used the TASER many times. This tool has saved officers from injury in a physical confrontation as well as trips to the hospital with suspects who have been injured in an altercation. The presence of a TASER alone has ended altercations before they start.

We're still weeding out some of the problems with the X26s, although Taser Intl. has been great in fixing them and getting them back to us in short time. I've had a couple times when my taser wouldn't fire or actually cut out half way through the five second run. But that's why you don't rely on the taser unless you have backup. Test it out before your shift you should be ok.

One of the best products ever made. It is simply unbelievable the amount of cooperation you get when you pull the taser out and simply hold it.

Has done it's job for our dept. We did have an incident where an inmate was tazed and went into a coma, never came out and passed away 3 months later at hospital. But he was intoxicated and high level of cocaine found also on his blood the day he was tazed. So for all purposes it has been great.

Suspect gets violent just Tzzzzzzzzzt! and cuff 'em. Smart.

I love this product, with the increased use, the subjects see you pull this and most of the time become compliant in fear of the activation on them.

Terrific invention. While the sense is that the 62 has a more reliable enrgy source, the Taser X26 has its small size as a virtue. With a small waist, I appreciate easy to fit belt add ons. I like though I wish newer officers would not over-rely on it. Old fashioned talking to people works too. Needs to be confined to active resisters and common sense use. A few bad uses threatens to ruin it for the rest of us.

Our Department just bought four with cameras. Hope to get more. Taser International has great tech support staff. Had a minor issue with one unit. Returned it and recieved a new one in less than ten days. A must have for all LE and Corrections!

It does the job and I love the size as it's not to bulky to wear with plain clothes.

This product has great protential. The laser gives the target a reason to respond to directives or they might just see the full potential of the Taser.

Great product. Just pulling it out will get the bad guys attention in most cases. Very few want to take a ride in the "chair"

Have watched Officers from other Departments use them and they are GREAT. My sheriff won't let us play with them so until we repalce "Andy" I won't get to add it to my belt. Some day, some day...lol

I only wish our dept would allow these we are not even allowed to carry an ASP though.

This less than lethal tool provides intimidation for those who are thinking about doing something stupid; yet it provides a low level use of force very effectively. We carry the all yellow model, I definately want you to see it!! I am 6'4 tall and weight about 290 lbs. I volunteered to be hit with it when I went to instructor school. Needless to say, I was on my knees in about 2 seconds. I can't say that for anything else I have come across yet.

Great tool for law enforcement/ when i take it out and display it to someone I usually get immediate compliance. It was the most painful felling when I got hit with it at the academy. They had us lay down on the floor and connect wires to one leg (from what I've been told, the most painful place on the body where you can get it). I yelled pretty damn hard to say the least

MY S.O. HAS BEEN CARRYING THE X-26 FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW AND I HAVE USED IT TWICE. BOTH TIMES WERE DRIVE STUNS AND BOTH WERE VERY EFFECTIVE. ALSO VERY EFFECTIVE IS WHEN YOU PUT THAT LITTLE RED DOT ON THEIR CHEST AND POLITELY INFORM THEM "IF YOU MOVE I'M GONNA TAZE YOUR ASS". EFFECTIVE, VERY EFFECTIVE.

The Tazer is the best thing to happen to law enforcement since the low-lethal shotgun. LOD injuries and OIS have been reduced. There has not been a single death attributed to the Tazer; suspects who have died after being tasered would have died by other means such as ASP, pepperspray, and hands-on due to the ETOH and drugs in their system. The ACLU hates this product but it has reduced their client base for claims of excessive force.

Outstanding product! Drops 'em like a rock. Water does not disable it, however do not use around flammable liquids, hell of a problem.

I use the X262 to certify the new recruits. Just showing it to them is intimidating enough. In fact pulling it out on the field does the job. When deployed I get the sack of potatoes’ effect everytime. I love it quails the situation before it gets out of hand. I can credit the X262 for a drop in on the job injuries. Great tool! Great weapon!

My department has just recently gone to the use of the Taser x26. This is a great tool it works with out causing problems to by standers like pepper spay does. Many times just drawing it and letting the suspect see the laser dot on them is all it takes to gain compliance.

Carried one for two years now, never had to use it. But however have felt the effects of one. They work well.

I had one incident where the probes hit a guys jacket and didn't penetrate, but lucky for me he gave up anyway. He said he heard the "pop" and thought I was shooting at him. One other time one of the "city" officers was using a "drive stun" while I was handcuffing the guy, and I got a shock off of it. I had my left hand on the guys left arm, and my right hand was on the cuffs (attached to his right arm). I guess I was the shortest path of resistance. All our road deputies carry them, and they use them in the jail too. They have been very successfull for us. Not sure why more departments don't issue them. Can't wait to get the 12 Ga. round that they developed.

An excellent piece of equipment. I would have loved to have had this for my entire career. Once deployed we had a significant drop in officer injuries. After a year on the road we also had a drop in deployments, because just showing the TASER caused compliance. Great tool.

The Taser X-26 is a great asset to my duty belt. There have been several time when just pulling it out the suspect has seen it and did not want any part of the probes. I feel that some officer like it to much. ie. taking other items off of their belt baton, mace. I have kept everything on that I started with. You never know when you will need it.

AWESOME BUT HARD TO FIND NEW CATRAGES

After deploying my taser in the line of duty the first time I am sold. I had a perp with a knife and the nearest backup was 15 mins away. After several tries at verbal commands it was obvious I was not going to get compliance. The taser was deployed and I got him to throw the knife and I had him in cuffs before my backup arived.

Just got at department replacing M26. Not as bulky as the M26 and like the extra cartridge holder.

Excellent tool. When inmates see that you are carrying a taser on your belt, they seem to be more compliant to any and all orders or directions given to them. It is also a very affective tool to prevent Officer injuries, because you don't have to be right next to the person to use it like the old hand held ERDs.

GREAT TOOL IF USED AND DEPLOYED CORRECTLY

My department has recently started carring the TASER. We only have 4 out there currently but hope to have more soon. THe price is high, but well worth it! Imagine not getting hurt because you don't have to fight from the get go. Not only that but there are no side effects like with pepperspray. GREAT PRODUCT!

One of the top innovations for law enforcement. I have used it several times. The X26 prevents injury to both officer and suspect. However, it is imperative that officers spark test the unit every day before their duty shift. We've had some isolated problems, but Taser International has worked well with the department.

I used the Taser X26 for the first time on someone yesterday. I will say the darts didnt project hard enough to go through a wind jacket and peirce the skin. That could simply be because she was moving (fighting another officer) so much ....I had to drive stun her to get her to comply, I recieved immideate compliance. Overall good job I prevented a suicidal woman from walkin into traffic so ....it did its job

One of the best tools that has come to Law Enforcement since I have been in the field. The only draw back is if there is multiple suspects however if you hit one of them normally the rest don't want any part of it.. I will carry it as long as i dont have to get shocked again. hehe

This product has saved countless lawsuits and trips to the hospital. Although many people have sued over the use of Tasers, it has still cut the numbers. Before I started using the Taser, the only options I had could have, and sometimes did, result in injury. Baton's hurt, guns kill and even academy approved take downs, manipulations and so forth cause injury, plus places the officer with in reach of the suspect.

Great for stopping the fight before anyone gets hurt. I think just about everyone loves the Taser and I think it is an officer safety issue not to have one.

The contact stun is a great feature. The Taser is almost more intimidating than a firearm.

Great tool for use on patrol. 95% of the time just the sight of it being pulled out and the laser on the suspect results in compliance. However, my department has had several issues with the X26 just completely stop firing after a spark test.

I never would have believed the knock down power of this little gem until I took a hit myself. It freakin hurts and makes you NOT want to fight afterwards. I haven't had to use it yet, however, everyone I contact, notices it on my side which is a great deterrant by itself.

This is a great tool to use, and the knock down power is crazy. After testing one of these, there is no doudt in my mind that I would take someone out if they came after me with one of those. It hurt like a mother.

The M26 is a great tool! I think all Officers should have one! It will get the “Job Done”!!

This is possibly the greatest tool used by law enforcement Officers today. Its my second favorite weapon next to my own two hands.

I think the Taser X-26 speaks for itself, it's a great officer safety tool and provides a non-lethal alternative to subduing a combative prisoner or person. The training is easy and not to mention it's fun.

Have had to use this on three seperate occassions worked perfect two times the third time had a faulty cartridge. Hope I don't run into that problem again. Besides that very effective tool. Every member of law enforcement should be certified to use this. I see so many times on t.v. were a situation could have been avoided by use of taser.

Second best tool on my belt. Carried it for two years now and have fired it three times. Drawn it on several occasions and in every application it has worked great. I see some of our guys becoming over-reliant on it but so far it has worked out for the best. Sometimes I miss the old days, bar fights just aren't the same anymore. :)

Great tool. WILL save lives, but did not like getting shot with it to much (DAMN).

VERY effective product. Compact size does not take up a lot of space on your duty belt. Very comfortable in your hand, which is very helpful if you have to fire while chasing a subject.

Its a great product in itself. The only thing is I believe it could be made not as bulky. When you put the backup cartridge under the grip its not so bad. However, we have the camera, so when you the the backup cartridge under the camera its very long. You will get used to it but its gawdy.

Most used tool on the belt, it has it's limitations, but still the best new tool for law enforcement.

I think the Taser is the best tool LE has. I have Been carrying it for two years now, but only had to use it three times. Usually just turning on the red dot gets peoples attention.

Yeah after being hit with this taser I dont see how anybody thats not on drugs wouldnt drop. I think it has a good design and more than enough power to get the job done. This would be my first choice in less leathal defense...

Excellent tool to have available for use when the inmate accelerates their way up the use of force matrix. Stops them cold with no harm to the individual. Since we have started using them in our facilty, after the first two "demonstrations", our hands-on incidents have dropped dramatically...BUT don't become dependent on it. There is ALWAYS the one individual who is not effected. Also, inmates in prison are "training" in how to defeat it by drop-rolling to try to break the lines, so be wary of the "veterans." Mick

This product is very effective. Not only is a safe option but it is reliable. Now that is more widley used, suspects know what it is and know they don't want to get hit with it. It can make a suspect more compliant either way.

I just received my last month. Haven't had a chance to use it.....YET! P.S., get a different hoslter. The endoskelton holster sucks.

The only thing I would improve on would be the holster, the flip/lock thing is extreamly difficult to handle on the quick. I usually keep it unsnapped because of this. However everything else is great.

This product has prevented me from getting hurt fighting with people who do not want to go to jail. I have had a problem with the battery going bad but in all it will keep us from getting injured.

I love this product for corrections use I just wish it was cheaper to purchase for off duty use.

Very effective tool to use for non-compliance. Lightweight and easy to draw and aim. More water resistent than the M26 version of the Advanced Taser.

When the absolutely positively need to ride the lightening, this is the one you want.

Very effective, great tool. The light and laser help the officer locate and aim the prongs.

Excellent way to down a violent and dangerous inmate. Works even better as a visual deterrent, I've seen inmates run to their cells at the mere sight of this thing.

Its a fabulous tool to add to your kit. Unfortunately, because of its size something else already on your belt will probably be sacrificed.....as it should. Taser X26 is dependable and durable, just keep the batteries charged. The weight of the weapon is also a positive feature being it will be stacked on the rig belt.

This is a great tool for LE. I just got certified a week ago and it is very effective. I recommend it to all LE that have not been through the training. I have felt the effects and it truly works.

THIS IS THE BEST NON LEATHAL TOOL THAT LAW ENFORCEMNT COULD HAVE. JUST ALONE THE INJURIES OF POLICE OFFICERS HAS WENT DOWN AND FOR MY DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN A EXCELLENT TOOL. BUT WE DO NOT DEPEND ON THE TASER A 100 PERCENT DUE TO THEY ARE SOME INDIVIDUALS THAT IT DOES NO AFFECT.

Compliance.. I love the Taser. Its by far the best tool that has been made. People fear it, They know well use it. Its safe, and it keeps dogs away without having to shoot them.

wow what a tool to have. ive used the m26 but have not had the op yet to use the x26. i currently carry it. and i have seen it used very effective.

My taser has defused MANY situations before they got out of hand. Great product. I have heard that there are some problems with cartridges firing propery. Any others has this issue?

This product is great, when recieving training this product brought me down fast. I also seen large framed subject go down with little or no froce needed. I just wish that ADT would allow them for their Officers to carry.

I really like my x-26 taser. It's better than pepper spray, but it does not always bring a subject down the first time. I perfer hands on. I'm not that bad, in 16 years i've only dislocated 21 sholders.

It's a good less than lethal tool for law enforcement. I would much rather use a taser than an ASP or even mace any day of the week.

I have had the opportunity to see this thing work on the real person. It effectively takes control of a combatant and puts the fear into a bad guy that is thinking about doing something.

The Taser is by far the best non leathal weapon out thier. I have never had to shock anyone with it but when I was on patrol I took it out a few times. When the suspect see's red dot on thier chest they have always stopped what they were doing and complied with every direction that I said. Life is good being the Police.

I personal own a M26 but use a X model at work. I love both for different reasons. GREAT TOOLS!!! No officer should be without one.

Just got mine a short time ago. Have seen it in use and am impressed. Don't like the extended battery/cartridge holder, gets in the way.

nice piece of gear how ever i recommend getting the extended battery so you can carry an extra cartrage.

I work in corrections and it is such a valuable asset I do not know how we did with out it in the past. Organizations must not be afraid to use these things. It hurts and it works, nay one using one should be required to experience the ride. Even more valuable asset with the camera

Although I do not carry one, several of my officers do and I have seen nothing but great results. Even the toughest gang banger turns into a pussy after being hit with it.

I believe that this is one of the best Law enforcement products that an Officer can carry. If your department hasn't issued this yet, I sure would recommend that you say something about it.

I carried the X26 while working at Martinez PD and I loved this taser. It shows how much juice is left in the unit, it has different light and/or laser settings and it works. I volunteered to take the full five second ride before carrying one and it was the longest five seconds of my life!

This is for sure the best taser that I have ever seen or used!! It's awesome!!!

I've used it and can't believe how dependable and reliable it is.

The great thing about this product is that you gain instant compliance when it is used properly. It's good for small departments where your back up is at a distance or on bigger departments to gain compliance in larger crowds.

The is leaps and bounds beyond the m26. i have been hit by both. The x26 will stop a charging rhino on LSD smeared in vasoline, you fast ropers know what I mean.

This thing will stop a rhino in its tracks as well as reheat a cold chicken sandwich with only 2 cylcles of the trigger. Good times.

Before my department issued this electronic control device, we had many instances of "hands on" contact with defiant subjects. After we started carrying the Taser X26, we have had to use it several times, with great results. The word has gotten around that we carry them, and our instances of physical force had dropped and I believe many instances were resolved on the street and in our detention center by the mere presence of the device. Great officer safety tool, especially when you're on a call alone and back-up is 15 minutes away.

Taser is the best device that shuts a suspect down.

This product works great in detering our use of forces... however it doesn't penatrate out suicide smock at all/

Great product. I am still trying to remeber to turn on the safety due to carrying a GLOCK for duty carry, during the day you can't really see the beam or light. And for some that are use to opposite safeties on handgun that is all a chore.

Very good tool to have. Our department has one and I would very much like to add another one. We have used it on several occasions.

Very good product. My agency the taser x26 and it is much more effective than any previous taser design. Much more compact and very simple and effective to use.

Now all officers need their firearm. Yet this is just as effective in most cases a still preserves life. The weapon can be effective in all areas of the body and stops movement on the dime. I've been tazed 2 times and can definatly will say that it will definatly do what it needs to.

The x26 has cut down on the amount of altercations that officers in our department have had to go through. Just the tasers presence in the situation has brought them to peacefull endings, but when deployment is needed it has gotten the job done quick and easy. Our department has the audio and video camera on ours and it has helped in complaints against excessive force complaints.

I didn't really bye into this useful tool until i actually used it in a situation where i was out numbered....and let me tell you its not only effective on the person you hit but also a great controller of the mopes friends when they see their buddy go down like a ton of bricks!

Was a goose and volunteered to be tasered by the boys from S.E.R.T (Australian SWAT). Was surprised by how well the taser incapacitated me. The five second burst seem to last a life time. Can't wait until I am issued with one in the new year.

All I can say is oooooohhhhhh myyyyyyy godddddddddddddddddd. As an academy requirement I had to be tasered. In my career. I have recieved OC applications freeze+p, saber red, def-tec 2 million schovil oc. Hand held ERD applications from the nova spirit and freedom. Applications from the NOVA stun shield and RACC belt(remote access custody control belt) But nothing gained my compliance like the X26.

A 5 second ride was all it took for me to become a believer in this product. I think every department should issue this device patrol, and mental health units who more often than not will need to stop a potentially violent situation from getting out of hand. Take the ride, it will make a believer out of you too!

I got tased with this back to back with an M26, this is definately the one i'm carrying! It a big cup of suck! I would rather curl up in the fetal position, and cry for my mother that get hit with this one.

The Taser X-26 is the best friend of any law enforcement official. This item has helped take many suspects in custody both armed and unarmed. All you have to do is point it at them and it is recognized as an attention getter. AWESOME>>>

The taser is with out a doubt one of the most irreplaceable tools on my belt. Just the mere presence of this tool has made offenders think twice before they act up. Being a younger officer I just cant understand on how older officers ever lived without them.

The best tool on my belt. It has made the difference between going hands or noy. During one large disturbance it enabled responding officers and I, to part a large crowd like Moses parting the Red Sea without having to put hands on. great equalizer.

Just replaced the Pepper spray on my belt with this and have to say it was a great move. Very good product.

The X26 is the best tool that was introduced into Law Enforcement. It takes care of the job when the job needs done. I can handle pain, but I do have to say, it will put a 5 second hurtin on you.

All I can say is I love the Taser. It has come in handy several times especially being a female. I am quick to use it and I feel every Officer should be certified and carry a Taser.

I can testify that this product works. I had to get shot with the X26 for Swat team and that was the worst thing other than having to stand in the gas room I ever had to do.

I've been carrying it for over two years now and have had to pull it our many times but never had to fire it. The thing is, everyone now knows what it does and complies immediately. One of the greatest tools for law enforecement ever made.

The Taser X26 is probably the greatest addition to Law Enforcement Gear in a very long time. I was faced with an armed subject who had a knife. He at first only want to hurt himself but when we(police) kept frustrating his attempts, he then wanted to turn the weapon on us. If not for the Taser, I would have had to use Deadly Force. It was nice not to have had to take a life.

Pretty much the best thing since sliced bread! An excellent and extremely useful tool that has stopped more altrications before they started then anything else I've see or used on over 20 years on the street.

Stoped alot of inmates from bleeding. Saved the county tons of money in hospital bills for treatment of inmates who resisted. ( two bandaids and a $35.00 cartrage is cheaper than a hospital bill ). Instant compliance when an officer arrives with a taser and the suspect is familiar with what that yellow gun is for.

Love it! Compact for easy use, potent enough to knock them down. Only had it fail on a suspect a few times, but the suspects were both heavily on illegal substances.

I love this puppy, although it hurt like heck taking it myself. It has been VERY effective for my agency.

In the years that I have carried this tool I have only had to use it once. Word of the Taser has spread and no one wants to ride the lightning...as disappointing as that is...just kidding. My motto...don't leave home without it.

I love this piece of equipment. It has never failed me in the past two years. The only downside is that the probes don't always penetrate through thick clothing or jackets.

I absolutely love using this over the pepper but the only problem that my department has been having is because we carry the extra cartridge, the battery loosens up and starts going through the date/time cycle. Overall it is a very good and impressive tool

My department has had the X26 for about a year now and have only been deployed twice. The department decided to get the bright yellow one which at first I thought was not a good idea, but I wear the taser on my vest and it sticks out like a sore thumb. With that being said when a mope starts to think about fighting and they are looking me up and down and clenching their fists they see the X26 and they start to change their minds, which is great for mental control not just physical.

This tool sells it self. where elso can you carry a less than lethal tool that is so well known to the public (kudos to COPS tv show) just the sight of it will stop a bad situation.
I was dispatched to a bar fight and upon arrival I observed what appeared to be two massive monsters duking it out in the gravel lot. I exited my durango pullrd my TASER x26 filpped on the laser beam and very loudly ordered the two cavemen to stop fighting, you could of heard a chicken lay an egg when one of the men said " Oh s*** it's one of those shockers" I kid you not both men stopped fighting, kneeled and let me cuff them one at a time. Than backup arrived ha ha. I feel that this one little story of many circling the globe is a good enough reason for any officer/deputy to carry a taser...

The reputation of this product. The tazer is known through out the land. I have been carrying a Tazer X-26 for little over 18 months and have not deployed it yet. The mere presence of drawing in pointing it at a person with the threat of using has worked so far. No fights and 100% compliance SO FAR.

This taser is an excellent intermediate weapon, but not all 12 months of the year. The probes have difficulty penetrating through T-shirts, let alone winter clothing. Having been personally tased by this taser, I can say that it works, and it is painful.

I love my TASER! Have had some problems with the battery acting randomly. It will sequence on its own. I will take it out and re-insert it at not have another problem for a month or so and it will do it again. I have never had any problems with it working when I need it and love having an alternative to deadly force.

How did we make it this far without the Taser? Our administration is still apprehensive about em. We just got (2) for our SRT team. Stops the baddest perps in their tracks. A must have for every officer. With proper training, it's the most effective tool you can carry.

Gotta love the taser...Ive been fortunate to have on on my side and love having it at my disposal.

Excellent tool to eliminate the threat on most situations. In fact, most of the time, you don't even have to fire it to gain cooperation. I love the Taser and would be absolutely lost without it again. Thank you Taser for creating such a great tool for LEO's to prevent officer injuries.

I just got trained on this and it is an awesome tool. I couldn't do anything when I was hit with all those volts haha!

I've only been tased by this tool in training and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that if I were a criminal facing the business end of this thing, I'd do exactly what he told me to do.

As an Instructor I can speak for both ends of the TASER, and I can guarantee this tool commands instant compliance! I have seen more respect given to the simple phrase “TASER TASER TASER” than Officer presence, Asp, Freeze Plus or even a 40 cal. A must for any agency that is ardent in achieving Officer Safety through suspect contact OJI’s.

A show stopper, absolutely awesome. It is not a one size fits all miracle tool like some people seem to think it is, but when deployed properly for the right situations it is the most excellent tool you can utilize as an officer. I love it.

Very useful when dealing with unruly inmates. One of the best non-lethal weapons around that will help keep yourself and others safe! And yes, I've had my ride on the lightning!

i have had the honors of carrying the x26 and the m26. i like the fact that the x26 is alot smaller but in past deployments of both tasers it seems that the m26 deploys harder and is more effective.

My department has issued the X-26 to all supervisor patrol officers. The criminal world has changed dramatically from the old days when a six shooter and "knight stick" were all that was needed to enforce the laws. Nothing gains the respect of a criminal faster than the X-26 taser. When your safety is on the line and less than lethal force is required this is the best weapon of choice!

GREAT TASER I'VE PERSONALLY USED IT TWICE ON TWO SEPERATE INCIDENTS. BOTH TIMES THE BAD GUY WAS RUNNING FROM ME.

I have seen it's use in the field, and I am very impressed.

I am not reviewing the taser I think it is a great product. What I want to talk and about is the cartridges with the use of the DPMS batter that has the option to carry a spare cartridges. IT seems that a lot of officers are breaking th doors off while in the holster. I wish Taser could come out with a stronger door front design. At 25 dollars a pop some department can not afford to replace the cartridges.

I have been a taser instructor for almost ten years and feel that the x26 is one of the best tool on my belt.

The X26 is one of the best products law enforcement has gained in the past several decades. Officer and subject injury have been drastically reduced. In most cases, it eliminates the need for deadly force, not all cases, but many times.

At last night violet assults on both me and my fiance, the officers on the sceen had to taze this man 3 times before he was willing to let go

We are in the process of purchasing tasers and the X26 with video and audio will be our choice. Other agencies in our area use the 26 and have never had any problems whatsoever

Have carried a Taser since 2007. Great tool... Have only fired once, penetrated Carhart clothing and ended an armed stand off. Have had to only spark to get compliance since. My Taser saved at least one life and TONS of paperwork! Love it...
