This is one of the best firearms S&W ever made. Steel construction, low recoil, very accurate, very reliable. Also, good enough for duty application if using the right ammunition. High pressure +p+ ammunition functions very well in this firearm and doesn't seem to cause any accelerated wear. The 9mm is just fine...................

This is the very first pistol I ever owned. I carried one for the first 4 years of my career. I liked it alot and enjoyed shooting it but if it came in a larger caliber it would have been better.

I carried the TSW version of this handgun and liked its accuracy. Dependability was an issue if you're putting a lot of rounds through it, but that issue comes with not taking good care of it as with any auto. I liked it so much, I bought one for personal use. It's big and heavy. If I carry it concealed, I carry it in a fanny pack with an extra 15rd mag.

Although I had to get used to the manual safety, it's proven to be a very accurate and reliable duty weapon.
