It Knows What is Coming or Going The Stalker DSR is a revolutionary new police radar that features moving direction sensing technology. This breakthrough technology allows the DSR to know if targets are approaching or going away from the radar - in both stationary and moving modes. Automatic Same Lane Operation The operator does not need to manually tell the Stalker DSR if same lane traffic is going faster or slower than the patrol vehicle. This makes same lane operation as simple and accurate as conventional moving mode operation. A Giant Leap in the Effectiveness of Stationary Operation The Direction Sensing ability of the Stalker DSR allows the operator to select a specific direction of traffic to monitor. The DSR can measure closing targets while automatically ignoring vehicles that are going away - even if a target moving away is closer than a distant closing target. The DSR opens up whole new areas that can be worked effectively with stationary operation. Provides Voice Verification of the Location, Radar Mode, and Direction Whenever a target is locked, the Stalker DSR police radar audibly tells the operator WHICH antenna was used (front or rear), what MODE the radar is operating in (moving or stationary), and the DIRECTION (opposite or same direction) the vehicle was traveling. This added step assists the operator in ensuring accuracy every time. True Doppler Audio The audio tone from conventional radars will vary in pitch when the patrol car's speed changes. The audio in the DSR is compensated for patrol speed, so the pitch always is directly related to the actual target speed. This allows the operator to know target speeds just by hearing the pitch, eliminating the need to constantly watch the display. View the Strongest and Fastest Targets Simultaneously By displaying both strongest and fastest targets simultaneously, the Stalker DSR can monitor faster vehicles passing larger vehicles and display the speed of both targets simultaneously. The Stalker DSR utilizes three colors (red, amber, and green) to differentiate between the strongest, fastest, and patrol speeds. Small Display / Counting Unit The compact display and counting unit is small enough to be mounted almost anywhere. If an even smaller unit is desired, the display / counting unit can be separated and then just the display can be mounted on the dash. Waterproof Ka Band Antennas The Stalker DSR includes two O-ring sealed, ultra-high frequency, Ka band antennas. These compact, completely waterproof antennas utilize locking, waterproof connectors and can be exterior mounted with no reliability concerns. The Best Performance in the Industry To maximize performance and range - the Stalker DSR utilizes the most sophisticated microwave system in the industry, extensive noise and interference rejection methods, and the most advanced signal processing. The result is the highest performance police radar on the market. This amazing performance means you can monitor vehicles at greater distances, which results in a superior tracking history and better target identification.

The new Stalker Ka-band DSR automatic direction-sensing digital radar is so sophisticated it can clock a speeding motorcycle passing a line of a slow-moving 18-wheelers. It can also clock vehicles traveling in the same direction, ahead of or behind the rolling patrol car. And it has a built-in time/distance computer that can't be detected by any radar detector. I have been using it for two years and love it.

We upgraded from Kustom Hawk and Eagle radars to the Stalker DSR in out traffic enforcement fleet. This is a great piece of kit. We have just upgraded the remotes to the latest model from Stalker too. The new remote is narrower and more ergonomically correct in the hand. The only shortcoming is that we cannot lock the "FAST" speed on, even with the new remotes, as our dept has disabled this feature.

Not as fond of their laser (LIDAR) units though. I still prefer the Kustom unit for a quicker accurate lock.

Before STALKER I used the Decatur-Hunter and Tomcat (Hanheld) units. Needless to say, with faster vehicles today, the STALKER is very effective for tracking your target on the move, at speed. After using STALKER for the first couple of times, I never looked back to other units. With the increased accuracy of the STALKER DSR, + or- 1MPH (Stationary), and + or - 2 MPH (Moving), I could hammer my opponents in traffic court more effectively, resulting in higher fines, and in alot of cases, suspensions. "STALKER RULES"...

one of // no the best radar unit on the market. Works in rain or fog. 4 moving targets with fastest speed// this unit leaves all the others in the dust. If your working your radar for interdiction of patrol this unit will make your job easy. how about closing same lane the first car at 70 mph the car in front of 1st car at 85 mph lock on and ticket// would highly recommend//
