An excellent off duty weapon. Easy to conceal with the right holster and very lightweight. This gun holds 11 rounds, fully loaded.

My duty firearm is a G19 and the G26 is my backup,Its agood firearm ,recoil is controlable even with 127gr.+P+ SXT's,I've tried the G27(40S&W) recoil was alittle sharp and being I carry a 9mm as my primary weapon it would not benefit me to carry a 40S&W..GLOCK makes a fine product maybe they will make a single stack 9mm in the future..

This is a great off duty and back up weapon. I have smaller hands and the 26 fits perfectly. It is easy to conceal and so light weight I barely notice that I am carrying on my ankle on duty. The best part about the 26 is that should my duty weapon ever malfunction and unable to fire the magazines from my 19 can be fired from my 26.

This is a great pistol, I carry it as my back up and off duty. The size plus the magazine capicity allows it to be light weight and dependible for any thing that can come your way

This little guy is a nice carry for those days when I need the lightest weight available. I have been very impressed with this weapon. Whenever people pick on me for carrying this 9mm baby Glock I simply tell them, "Why don't you go over there and put and apple on your head and let me show you what it will do!" I will defend this little guy til the end.

I a great little handgun... I carry it off duty. The hand grip is a little short for my hand, so I added an attachment to the end of the magazine that adds just enough room for my little finger.

This is my backup and off duty carry weapon, it goes everywhere I do. This little Pistol is a Gem, I have put some work and additional money into mine, but it is lean and mean. My firearms instructor says its close, but he thinks I shoot better with the 26 than I do with my 17. This is money well spent and that I will not have to spend again for many years to come if ever... Stay Safe Out There !!!

My duty weapon is a G-19, I carry the 26 in my left cargo pocket. The size and weight isn't too far off from the G-19, which has more to hold on to and carries 5 more rounds. Before you buy one of these, see if the 19 will work for you. Its a good gun, but if I had it to do over, I'de carry two G-19's

I want to get one of these for my wife. She has very small hands and slender wrists and I think a small 9mm would be perfect for her. She has held an airsoft G26 and she likes how it feels, so I think it would be alright for her, but I am looking for more input, so if anyone who owns one could PM me or email me at abcbroussard@hotmail.com, I would greatly appreciate it. I personally hate Glocks, they are the only pistol to ever give me slide-bite. 1911 forever.

Well, heck, I don't know how I missed this review.
My 'Baby Glock' is fine shooter but not a tack driver. Excellent for CQB. Once you master the sear reset (and that's fairly fast), you're in business.
If you are considering buying one, look at magazine extensions. Although I don't have a hand the size of Sasquatch, my mag extensions provide the added foundation to establish a firm four-finger grip.

I carried the Glock 26 for my primary duty weapon for 4 years while working narcotics. Many of our plain clothes detectives carry this firearm because of the size and accuracy of the gun. I was surprised to see the accuracy when I first shot it... expecting that it would be difficult to control... defiantely not the case. Great gun for plain clothes and off-duty.

I have rotated between carrying a Sig 229 and a Glock 23 for about 8 years now. I considered a weapon from either manufacturer for off duty and decided on the Glock. It is Glock versatility in a compact size. Recoil is limited and accuracy and dependability is consistent with Glock quality.

This little gun is a a winner! Very good recoil; even with: +P loads...
I've carried mine everywhere; some say that with large hands (like mine) it's hard to control a G-26 but, I carry mine with no magazine extentions in a Fobus Roto-Paddle holster and, in a forward, strong-side cant; my G-26 is always there for me and, shoots consistantly tight groups. I also like the fact that with a longer match barrel slipped in and, a medium sized magazine I have a nice larger size/capacity weapon without having to purchase the next larger Glock.
I did have an issue with a need for a larger caliber of ammunition but; alas, I don't make those decisions; however, just upgrading to hotter Corbons is all this baby needed to perform like my 40.- Flag as inappropriate

This Baby Glock power-house is an AWESOME sub-compact firearm, just be sure you have a good bit of shooting experience before you try to be accurate at 10-15 yards with a tiny gun like this. It drew blood on the bottom joint of my thumb the first 10 rds I shot out of it (too high of grip). It is remarkably concealable with the 17 rd magazine and you can even rock and roll with a 33 rd clip for that extra cover fire you may need. I would feel safe in the Sudanese bush with one of these wicked little Baby Glocks and about 8 of the 33 rd clips!!!

Like American Express, I don't leave home without it!! Small, lightweight, concealable & reliable. I didn't like the factory sights that it came with so I went to my local gun store & had them add some Trijicon night sights to it (same sights I have on my duty G19). I also added a Pearce PG-39 magazine +2 extension to the factory 10 round mag, making my 26's total capacity of 12+1.

I have never been a Glock fan but I am a big fan of absolute reliability. The 26 is my primary CCW, though in the summer I usually opt for a single stacker due to printing. Still the 26, for its size, is dead accurate with minimal barrel flip... Though I have had to train myself not to over shoot due to the, "Glock hump." For me its not a good hand fit, doesn't point naturally, watch the over shoot... But reliability, and a staggered mag makes the 26 a definite keep

I've owned a Glock 26 9mm semi auto pistol for over ten years now. I usually carry it as my off duty weapon. I like a Glock because that is what I'm most familiar with. The negative for me would be the grip is kind of squat, i.e. "short" and I have big hands. I do have a set of extenders on the magazines which add a couple extra rounds and make the grip that much more comfortable to me.
I bought this when the Sheriffs Dept. had a one time contract offer for Sgts and Lts and a gun allowance. The county contacted Glock and if you wanted a 26, the allowance check went straight to Glock. About 2 years later, after the dept. had switched over to 40's, they made another deal with Glock to straight up trade the 9's for 40's... Unfortunately, I didn't hear about that offer until it was too late! Oh well, the 9 isnt bad and I've got an adequate number of rounds available to really piss somebody off! lol

If you carry a GLOCK 17... there is no reason not to carry this excellent threat resolution tool.

Love it... easily concealable, accurate, and its a GLOCK.. I do recommend the pinky extender though to get a better grip.

Great concealable weapon! The only complaint I have is my big hands have a hard time gripping it comfortably, but there are solutions for that. I would highly consider this gun.
