good idea, taste does not last long and leaves a stale tase in your mouth, but it does indeed give you a bust of energy lasting 45-60 min. not bad for those slow hrs.

Just don't mix it up with your Tic-Tacs. You could be up for days.

Wonder if this product really works? Sounds like a good idea.

I think I will just swallow a Goody's powder with a Redbull.

This is pretty much like jolt gum but after a while it's easy to build up an immunity to it. I just stick with good ole ephedra in pill form. It last longer and not as easy to build up an immunity against.

I've tried something similar some time ago and it worked GREAT! I keep some on hand for those nights you're called out unexpectedly. I still prefer coffee or the powdered energy drink; but, it still makes ALL the difference....

Seems like a good product...Red Bull is my main wake up juice.

I think I'll stay with a cup or two of the spanish bakery coffee. Those last long.

When my element rotates I'll be trying this out.

I'm not too keen on the taste, but bid deal. Army buddy of mine had a few of these and took them all at once, then drank a Mt Dew. I don't know if he's been to sleep yet. They will get you moving, one at a time though.

They work pretty dam well. The down side is they taste like super big red at first and then it gets nasty the longer you chew it the worse it gets. If the caffeine doesnt keep you up the taste will.

A buddy of mine just got back from training in the Army, and said his unit got to try the First Strike Rations out. He says the gum tastes terrible, and he didn't get any energy out of it. Everyone's different, though.

A great ration to have with you. Improves your mental and physical performance.

Works well, but it's only caffeine (no taurine or other supplements). Doesn't work as well as energy drinks

This gum really works ! ( the taste isnt great but it does give you a boost )

I've tried this and personally i hate it and it didnt help me stay awake. though i am use to a pretty strong coffee with about 10 sugars minimum. Ripits r alot better in my opinion and in bigger supply.

I just go straight for the java.
