Sierra provides only the highest quality bullets, built very carefully to spec. I used to work there!

I do reloading and I have found that not only does Sierra Bullets are reliable (regardless of caliber) in all aspect. I use their MatchKing for competition, the JHC .45ACP 187gr., etc., their staff are very courteous and are willing to help you in any aspect that you may have while reloading or getting data for your weapon and ammunition combination.

While FMJ rounds are best to ensure that your weapon does not jam, they are also prone to not expand and lack the knock-down power of a jacketed hollow point. In addition they are also much more likely to penetrate walls and ricochet causing unintended injuries.

While I don't reload 9mm I do however reload their .38 and .45 FMJ offerings. I have found all of Sierra products to be the industry standard. They are very consistant in both weight and diameter even from different lot numbers. I choose them for competition. I have also had the opportunity to contact their customer service with questions and was treated very well by a friendly staff. I recommend Sireea products without reservation. Keep in mind FMJ's are for practice and training. A good quality hollow point for duty is a must.

its not my favorite tool in the box but ist what i use. Even though it might just tickle or make angry whom you might be firing upon.

Have almost as much penetration as a straw and some spit wads.
