this what my department bought. rock river is a good company they make a quality product, there are a few things i personally do not like about them. the tolerances are tight in these rifles which is very good for the most part except the mag well. the mag well is so tight that you have to pull the mags out of the rifle because they dont drop free using magpul or standard GI mags. The mags do not seat easily because of the tight mag well either. This is not a one gun coincedence either. Also the eotech co-witnessing with the front sight im not a big fan of. a flip up front sight on a gas block would be much better. I took a rifle course with this rifle there were no malfunctions over the course of approx 1000 rounds.

DEA was the first to acquire this Model from Rock River Arms, so if any of you come across one on the street get with your local DEA office. The Government Model has the agency name stamped on the side. To my knowledge DEA is the only Gov. Agency carrying this rifle as of current.

wow what a great gun. then only thing i changed on mine was i put a flip up front sight and a low profile flip up rear sights so the eotech would function better

AWESOME GUN. No recoil, i do not own it but have fired it quite a bit. everyone should have one of these.

My department allowed us to purchase our own rifles for use and I pretty much mirrored the Gov Model with a few different options that I put in. I got the Magpul 6 pos stock and low profile front and rear flip up sights because like most people have said, it is a pain to co-witness the EOTech with the front sight on the Gov Model. It arrived on thursday and was not able to play with it until friday and I loved it. It was great being the loudest at the range!!!
