excellent for female officers who don't want to carry their full size service weapon all the time. fits right in your purse without any extra weight I love it!!!

Excellent backup weapon. With 12+1 capacity and a Cor-Bon or other high power round, this is a great weapon. Very concealable for CC, not heavy and feels really nice in the hand. highly recommended, though the .40 round is preferred for carry, the 9mm is a lot cheaper to shoot at the range.

My G26 now has a bit of competition. For my hand the M&P9C fits, and points better, plus the 12+1 is nice. I also have found, for me, it conceals (IWB) better that my G26. In all its a great little power house that should not be over looked.
The M&P9C has a bit more muzzle flip/kick than my G26 and is not as well made/finished as my Glock. Still, this little M&P9C does what its suppose to do and does it very well.

Just traded my S&W bodyguard .380 for this one, wanted something a bit bigger that packed a bigger punch and so far I'm liking it pretty well.
