The brain is the central information-processing organ of the body. It innervates the head through cranial nerves, and it communicates with the spinal cord, which innervates the body through spinal nerves. Nervous fibers transmitting signals from the brain are called efferent fibers. The fibers transmitting signals to the brain are called afferent fibers (or sensory fibers). Nerves can be afferent, efferent or mixed (i.e., containing both types of fibers).
The brain is the site of reason and intelligence, which include such components as cognition, perception, attention, memory and emotion. The brain is also responsible for control of posture and movements. It makes possible cognitive, motor and other forms of learning. The brain can perform a variety of functions automatically, without the need for conscious awareness, such as coordination of sensory systems (eg. sensory gating and multisensory integration), walking, and homeostatic body functions such as blood pressure, fluid balance, and body temperature.
The Cerebellum controls balance and movement. Without it, movements would not be coordinated.

Diagram showing the lobes of the human cerebral cortex and the cerebellum. Many functions are controlled by coordinated activity of the brain and spinal cord. Moreover, some behaviours such as simple reflexes and basic locomotion, can be executed under spinal cord control alone.
The brain undergoes transitions from wakefulness to sleep (and subtypes of these states). These state transitions are crucially important for proper brain functioning. (For example, it is believed that sleep is important for knowledge consolidation, as the neurons appear to organize the day's stimuli during deep sleep by randomly firing off the most recently used neuron pathways; additionally, without sleep, normal subjects are observed to develop symptoms resembling mental illness, even auditory hallucinations). Every brain state is associated with characteristic brain waves.
Neurons are electrically active brain cells that process information, whereas Glial cells perform supporting function. In addition to being electrically active, neurons constantly synthesize neurotransmitters. Neurons modify their properties (guided by gene expression) under the influence of their input signals. This plasticity underlies learning and adaptation. It is notable that some unused neuron pathways (constructions which have become physically isolated from other cells) may continue to exist long after the memory is absent from consciousness, possibly developing the subconscious.
The study of the brain is known as neuroscience, a field of biology aimed at understanding the functions of the brain at every level, from the molecular up to the psychological. There is also a branch of psychology that deals with the anatomy and physiology of the brain, known as biological psychology. This field of study focuses on each individual part of the brain and how it affects behavior.
Must have one to work in Law Enforcement

Probably over-rated but still good to have. Try and keep and extra 100 to 200 handy to give out to friends, relatives, and co-workers. Let the bad guys fend for themselves.

I think that most of the public that Law Enforcement deals with missed the free distrubution of these things that occurred at birth. Too many who do obtain these items let unwise decisions or emotions get in the way and then damage them with drugs & alcohol.
Amazing technology...used to control the most wonderful creation...the human body. The human body starts as two microscopic cells that are introduced to each other (this process will be described briefly later) and begins a systematic splitting and doubling of cells, which organize themselves into a smaller version of the finished product. This smaller version eventually increases in size to the highest point of dimensions, then as time proceeds, normally starts some regression in size in normal conditions until natural termination of function. It should be noted that some units have conditions that prevent the normal development of the product....this sometimes occurrs during production or can occur with unexpected events to the unit.
Most units posess the ability in most cases to repair itself when damaged unexpectedly, but sometimes requires intervention by trained personnel. Has several systems that back up other systems during this process.
Has appendages, that are only available on one other mammal called hands that utilize opposible thumbs to grasp and munipulate other things. These items can be used by the units that take up law enforcement to detain units that violate rules. The hands can use mechanical devices, such as weapons (taser, batons, guns), when violators fail to rationalize with normal intervention.
The human body has amazing sensory inputs, such as visual, auditory, touch, taste & smell that can work independently or in harmony with two or more senses....has systems that are designed to back others up in case of failure.
The human body comes in may colors with slight variations in features, but has two basic models...male & female...each has different features destinctive to that model. The designer, created these to be opposites, yet attracted to each other. Certain parts are designed to interact with each other for dual purposes...enjoyment (intended between ONE of each of the models) between participating units as well as producing more units.- Flag as inappropriate

We'e seeing less and less of these today. They should be brought back, but that's probably just a pipe dream.

Very Under - rated product. Must be careful though. Some Models come with a low memory chip , while others seem to run very slow. If you hit the back of it with a night stick it will temporarily shut down any activity from Product.

Very good to use if you have one.. I think most people tend to not use theirs or just give it away.. People that don't have common sense don't use them anyways..

If everyday people used these....then there would be no need for law enforcement. so lets keep the balance of idiocracy and common sense so theres a need for security and police.

Quite a valuable commodity......! Unfortunately, many versions are issued in refurb fashion or frequently as: Owner's Manual not included. I'm glad to have the benefit of being given a full functioning, operable, well tuned, educated, high tech model, suped-up with honesty, integrity, sincerity, patriotism and a strong work ethic.
