Almost all Corrections Officers have carried these keys at some point in their career... They are useful in locking up most inmate in the system... especially the aggressive ones; just make sure you don't forget to turn the lock back closed or you may have to deal with him or her again with your back to them, and that is not a good thing. We must all learn to appreciate the lock and remember this tool that we use to lock most of societies problems away from the rest of the world.

that sound of a group of these keys clanging together while walking down the hall, is one of the things i miss about working in the jail.

This is a great tool. Not only is it a key to open a variety of cells, but it can be used as a thumper to get the attention of an unruley inmate, a little thump on the back of the hand. And omg get a ring of them and run them down the bars of a seperation cell and everyone pays attention. But watch those teeth, break on and it is about 175-300 dollars to make a new one.

We used these keys when I worked in the prison system, and they are some tough keys!!!!!!! I cant imagine how expensive they are, but they are unbreakable.

Good for every day use but they are heavy when your key ring has 10 of them on it
