Love it! This vehicle is the reason why I am here today writing this review. Many miles were spent in this vehicle doing my job.

CORRECTION: The picture is the M1151 Enhanced Armament Carrier, the latest version in the armored humvee falimy. Just to clarify. I had an M1114 in Iraq both times, and they saved my butt and my teammates at 7 times throughout our tours.

If I could give it 10 stars, it would get it from me. In theater, you don't leave home without it.

This vehicle is my second home in Iraq and a tried-and-true lifesaver. Small arms fire and IED's have slowed her down, but she kept rolling out of the kill zone. And now that my 1114 is tricked out with a light bar, Galls box, and several KC lights, I'd love to take her back stateside for troll patrol. The M1151 is a newer model, and several teams in my platoon operate the 1151, but the 1114 is my venerable favorite.

I love this vehicle! I CANNOT imagine life overseas without it. It has saved countless lives, and I for one would not be here today to give my opinion if it weren't for this vehicle. It has great pick-up (but we would always love more) and the shell is hard.

Could not have finished the mission without the 1151. 6 strikes in an 1114 and 3 in the 1151 and I'm still around to talk about it. These things take expolive hits and gunfire and shrug it off.

I was IED' in this vehicle back in OIFIII, and involved in countless tactical incidents and hostile contact while a dismount or TC in one. There is no super vehicle that will withstand everything AIF, Taliban, and al-Qa'ida throw at us, but alwys feel comfortable in this workhorse.

Between M1114 and M1151 I can count 5 IED blasts and 87 small arms shots. Neither I nor the 14 other members of my squad would be here without them. Although we did have to do dismounted patrols these vehicle are the reason that we in the MP world say "Death before Dismount"
