The Tanto Blur from Kershaw and Ken Onion is a slight variation on the Blur knife. This blade has increased usability in unique or emergency situations. Plus you'll love having the partially serrated edge to use for sawing through materials or scraping. The knife blade is made from Sandvik 13C26 stainless-steel with a Tungsten DLC Coating to make it very strong and long-lasting. The handle is 6061-T6 anodized aluminum with Trac-Tec inserts and a 410 stainless steel liner. You'll be able to use this knife effectively in an emergency and keep a secure grip on the handle in wet or slippery conditions. It's also a convenient knife with a changeable pocket clip. The Tanto Blur handle is drilled for left and right hand clip carry. A Locking Liner locks the blade into position after it's been fully deployed. Plus the SpeedSafe patented assisted opening system makes for easy ambidextrous opening of the Blur.

Has a very sharp edge. It actually shaved hair from my hand. The assisted opening system makes opening the knife extremely easy. I believe a one handed person with extreme arthritis could open this knife with the utmost of ease.

Great knife, but bad for a defensive knife. I have a couple of these and are a great utility knives. On the defensive end, my only issue is the liner lock. It doesn't lock the blade in well enough and can cause it to disengage with a little vibration or shock. I have a couple of other Kershaws, one being the Steven Seagal, that do not have this issue. Great knife, but Kershaw needs to modify it just a hair to cause the liner lock to come farther over.

Great knife, bought it for a defensive knife. Haven't had any problems. Have several other Kershaw knives, all good products.

excellent knife, easy to maintain edge. Coating has kept it rust free, and the grip "damnit" used in rain etc. secure grip doesn't cover it am looking into similar for my 1911. The ambi opening is great, its more like one finger than one hand but thats the point isn't it.

Great knife. Use it daily. Great company to deal with when you have to make a claim on the lifetime warranty!

This knife is a all around good knife. I have had it for about two years and it continues to hold an edge very well. I use it pretty regular and it continues to maintain its durability.

Great knife for all around use. Sharp out of the box, and easily keeps a good edge. The grip is great, and a bit of skateboard tape on th epocket clip ensure no slipping during use. I carry mine on and off duty & my girlfriend bought one too for the same!
