I bought this vest (Level II) myself to upgrade my armor. I scanned the pictures from a flyer by the way. All I can say is wow! Best fitting armor I've ever worn. It doesn't shift at all during the day. It has a cummerbund attached to the rear carrier that helps keep the vest in place. Putting it on properly (wrapping front to back) is a cinch. Put the armor over your head, put the cummerbund on and then just wrap front to back and your ready for work! The dual strap thing on the shoulders really helps too! The armor meets all current NIJ standards and comes with a $35,000.00 Line of Duty Death Benefit. If your wearing the armor on duty and your killed (run over at a DUI check point, killed in a vehicle pursuit etc...), it pays out to your spouse/family. It is also available in a level IIIA.

Level II weight is a true: 0.87 lbs/per square foot
Level II thinnes is a true: 0.15 inches thick
