This product is a must have for anyone that works in areas of the nation that have snow and ice. I love that this product simply slips on over my boots and allows me superior traction on ice and in snow. I would hate to have to chase someone or have someone fight with me on an icy surface. With these on it would give me a sure advantage. I have been on several calls where my fellow officers are slipping and falling on ice and I am as sure-footed as if I was standing on clear, dry concrete. I will continue to wear these as long as the company makes them.

One caution, don't wear them on hard smooth surfaces such as tile or smooth concrete. On these surfaces they are slippery. Luckily they slip off easily in case you have to transition to that type of surface.

Great product if you work in an area that has ice/snow. We have ice here and I have used these and they definitely work.

These are awesome and being in Colorado and having used them, I SWEAR by them! Just watch it on tile, then it has an adverse affect!

Have saved my ass MANY times around the farm. Uneven terrain and thick ice make getting around tricky. When I need to move quickly to avoid horses running me down (lol) these enable me to do so. Great product!

Great tool for officer safety on snow and ice. Only downfall is they are not the easist to get on and off and tend to scratch floors up. Not good if you are required to go in and out of the office often.

These are a must have for any copper working where freezing rain and ice is common. Last night we had about .2" of freezing rain and the streets were as smooth as a skating rink. I wasn't working, but having just recently purchased the YakTrax Professional for $34.95, I decided to give them a try. I went outside on my sidestreet, which had not been salted and promptly fell of my a$$. I put the YakTrax on and actually ran sprints down the street. I even did some rapid course changes and there was not a hint of slippage. Had I been chasing someone in those conditions I have no doubt I would have caught them in no time. Had I been up on the freeway with an accident, I wouldn't even have come close to falling. Great product, get a pair!

I made fun of another officer for having these.. After we got hit by a large ice storm I ordered some.. Very nice to have so you dont slide down the icy road.

We do not get a lot of snow in my area however we tend to get a great deal of ice. On duty or not I would not leave the house on an icy day without a pair of these on my shoes. Great and effective product!
