Excellent bike. Scary fast, handles well and has ABS which makes your braking must more efficient and predictable. 7.5 gallon tank beats the #$%&* out of the two gallon kawasaki tanks! Digital display and hand warmers too! Lots of storage space and shaft driven.

The Higway Patrol and County police use this bike. It has a lot of pick up. The thing is quiet, you dont know its behind you untill you see the Blue lights.

I've been on mine a little more than a year now. What a fantastic bike! It doesn't do any one thing exceptionally well, but it does do everything across the board better than most. I've found it to be very reliable, quick (enough for police work), quiet, fuel efficient, comfortable along with excellent brakes that will stop you on a dime and leave change...Oh, did I mention affordable? We paid about $18k with lights, siren and a service agreement with our local dealership. The only time this bike has been in the shop was to get an oil change. My partner, unfortunately for him, was stuck riding the last H-D we had until this past Wednesday. About twice a month, something would fall off, break or just stop working on this 08' Road King. The issue with stability has long since been addressed and only occurred in the UK. The motorcops in the UK used a light bracket that acted more like a wing or a spoiler that caused more down force on the rear end, thus causing the front end to feel light. Once the wing was removed the instability issues went away. I've had mine over 120 mph several times without a hiccup. If your department is considering the Honda ST1300PA for duty work, trust me, you'll love it...

I've been on this bike for several months now and wouldn't give it up for anything! FYI: it is a V-4, not an inline 4. Kawasaki is the inline 4.
