| Description: | There are two individual cuffs rather than the standard single strap (cuff). This gives an officer the ability to control a suspect after one cuff is placed on the suspect's wrist/forearm. One Double Cuff™ does the job of two standard single-strap disposable cuffs. One Double Cuff™ can be used to interlock into another Double Cuff™ through the slots in the locking head. Double Cuffs can also be used to secure a suspect to the railing of an ambulance cot to make transportation to a hospital safer for medical personnel, patient and officer. Double Cuff™ reduces stress in the suspect's shoulders while handcuffed from behind. • 0.5" wide plastic strap • It will not cut into a suspect's wrist • Designed to apply using standard handcuffing techniques • Can also be used to secure a suspect's legs at the ankles • You can write on the white Double Cuff as necessary. • Available in 10-pack or 100-unit bulk packs (see below) • Available in black or white |

These are actually better than the flex cuf, but both should be in your vehicle. They could be a life saver.

Also works well for undisciplined and unruly kids in the back seat of the van on long trips.

The ten packs go for around $20 at most police supply stores. Your stupid to not buy a package and through it in your trunk.

Great product, very practical.....although a bit pricey. I find the cost may be prohibitive for some officers for this one-use only item. But they are cheaper than buying 20 pair of handcuffs.

We use this product and it works great. The one big problem we found is that in extreme cold they become brittle and break.

a fews ago, while serving as an mp in virginia, i made a friend that was a state trooper, i ask him how many sets of cuffs he hade, he had only 2 sets, and i then given him like 5 of these to him. after i saw him a short time later he was very greatful that he took them, cuz he said a night or 2 after i given him the flex cuffs, he had pulled a car over that had 5 occupants in the car, he said that they help protected his saftey

These are great and strong and one of the best backup cuffs to have used them many times during large arrest @ Dance's & events.
Currently IDOC makes us use 1 cuff per wrist/ankle- Flag as inappropriate
