THis is a great patrol rifle. It is fully customizable whith any AR-15 addons. Combined with a tac light and an EOTech sight, I take this rifle just about eerywher I need extra firepower. Outstanding customer support from the manufacturer.

I had one buit at the factory (as I live 10 minutes from it). It is reliable and with the "factory trigger job" option it has a beautiful trigger. I have had to take it back twice to get the bugs out though. The first problem was that it would bump fire two rounds auto and the second was the front sight had to be raised way out of the guard to sight it to the flip up rear.

One of the lower end AR's out there today. Oly Arms has been in the buisness for a long time. Only time I ever bought one was a pre ban lower during the Clinton ban. They used to be pretty cheap but since their prices have gone up, I hope to see the quality go up as well.
They deliever some decent GI parts to us though..

I have had an olympic arms as my primary shoulder fired weapon for years. They are very durable, customizable, and have fantastic customer support. I have added a Leupold CQT scope and Insight M3X light on the 4 rail hand guard. Well worth the price.

A previous reviewer calls Olympic Arms a 'low end' or lower tier product. What this reviewer does not know is that Olympic Arms is in fact the oldest, and longest continuous manufacturer of AR15 products to the civilian market in the WORLD. Colt is the only manufacturer older, and they are to the point where they actually manufacturer less than 7 parts in house. When Bushmaster® got its start, Olympic Arms made their lowers for them and sold them parts kits. Oly has been either contrated for or has delivered parts for Colt, Bushmaster, DPMS, Rock River Arms and Armalite. Olympic Arms is the only TRUE MANUFACTURER of AR's in America in that they make every major component part of the AR15/M16 system IN HOUSE. No other brand name can make such a claim. Olympic Arms innovated the flat-top upper, the free-floating handguard system, had the first 4-rail integral free floating handguard, the first 7.62x39 conversion, invented the 9mm conversions as well as the Simunitions® training AR15's.
This particular model features a blackened 416 SS barrel (no other brand name offers a SS M4 barrel), that is button rifled for accuracy (not hammer forged or chrome lined), will last 80k rounds plus and will shoot MOA out to 300 yards, even from this 16" bbl. Forged receivers, better accuracy, longer life, and a lifetime factory warranty. No other brand name even comes close. All other brand nanes are equalled or bettered by this model. Buy it.- Flag as inappropriate

I have had two of the top three AR-15's. My Oly Arms is the only one that I will carry on duty. My Bushy like to jam, and my colt has a broken extractor. 10,000 rounds and never a malfunction. LOVE IT. People make fun that its a throw away. until they shoot it.

After 20,000+ rounds still works like new. I recently added a hogue grip and front grip and tac light. Even better. Would buy one again anyday. I likw that they are built in the U.S. and in my home state of Washington. Makes me feel good knowing I am keeping my money here!

This Is the worst Rifle I have ever owned and will tell anybody do not buy this peace of junk all it does is lock up. If your wanting to get something to save your life don't buy this gun pray all criminals carry this one if so you'll never loose a gun fight. The only reason this gets a star is because it makes you.

I have owned my Oly Arms for a few years now, I have made a Few of my own personal Mods to it. I put in a Timney Skeletionized Trigger set, Boy does it have a smooth crisp pull now, then I added a Hogue Hand grip, a 2 pc Picatinny Hand guard, a nice tactical light, then topped it off with an EOTech 552 w/ GG&G Accucam

The one I got hits exactly what you point it at. Will make head size groups at 500 yards. It does have a dirty operating system. After a bunch of rounds I have to dig the carbon off the bolt. Overall a great gun. Simple to learn and use.
