I picked this book up at my college library and it made for a very interesting read. Captain snow talks about dozens of situations where a SWAT team had to respond to incidents and resolve them. This ranges from high-risk warrant service to hostage rescue and dealing with mentally unstable suspects.
I'm no LEO myself yet, but found this to be a very informative and entertaining book on the different scenarios that police are faced with and that no matter how planned something is, something can always change last minute.
The only negative comment that I can think of is that Captain Snow goes into some scenarios in great detail, from planning to all the departments involved, but in the later chapters he has a tendency to list off good and bad missions with less than a paragraph for each.I recommend this book if you can find it in your local library. It's worth a read.
