SOLID WEAPON, DEPENDABLE,MY WEAPON OF CHOISE, IT'S IN MY UNIT NOW

I've carried this shotgun for the last 4 years. It's well-balanced and great for long-duration calls. Side-saddles mount easily.

I have the 590 A1 w/o the Vang Comp system, and in my opinion it is better than the Remington 870 Police model that most agencies use. The ergonomics out of the box are better placed than the 870. The sights are better as well, and my groups with slugs or buckshot were tight right out of the box without any adjustments.

I have the shorter version, the 6 shot, that I bought myself as a "congratulations to me" gift for graduating the academy, read that as the wife let me! I graduated with my AAS in Criminal Justice the following month.

Just a week after that, I used my 590 to attend the Firearms Instructor course. It was awesome! It was the first time I had used the ghost rings. That was the fastest target acquisition I have ever had. I had a few others in the class use it as well and all really liked the way it operated. I give it 2 thumbs up...I would give it more but I was only given 2!
