    1st review

For any of us that have ever lost a phone to the elements, this is the phone for us. This phone is verizon's 2nd mil-spec phone.... water proof, heat proof, shock proof, dust proof, etc. They tested in my submerging it in the water for 30 minutes (powered on) and it worked. Took calls in teh shower with no problem. I have used it in the rain with no problems, it has survived a few falls from the shirt pocket/belt to concrete without any damage. It is a good quiality phone that is extremly durable.

The downsides.... it is a little bulky (when compared to the popular razor, or basically anything else lol). The speakerphone on it sucks. The camera on it is a VGA camera (who the hell puts a VGA camera on a phone in today's digital age??) and sucks. My friends label it my poloroid phone cam.

Four stars because bulkiness doesnt really bother me. Hardly ever use the speaker phone. The camera is the main suck.

I love this phone, drop it, kids throw it, it still works. My only hang up is no bluetooth. I have only ever dropped one call in 12 months of owning this phone.

Very durable and reliable product! I agree, the only negative is the camera.

Tough. I broke three other phones in the preceding year. I have had this one for a couple of months now. I can't make everything work, but I can make and receive phone calls and send and receive texts. That’s what I really need. It does somehow get switched from vibrate to silent very frequently and, as yet, I cannot figure out why. This is not good when you miss an important call (perhaps from you sergeant) because the phone did not vibrate.

Great phone. For as many times i've dropped this and rolled over on it, the phone still works.

It is bulky, the camera does suck, and my bluetooth doesn't work with it.

However, I've left it pinned to my uniform and have been in several altercations, and it has survived... I had the Chocolate before and it only lasted a couple of months... the G'zOne is the best phone I've ever had in terms of durability

I have dropped this phone on all types of surfaces and in water and it still works great even after I ran over it with my truck.

Best phone for the job. I had it thrown against a wall, and when I replaced the battery it worked immediately. Also dropped it into an oven on broil. It landed on the red hot coils, and stayed there for about 5 seconds before I could grab it. The phone suffered minimal damage from melting, and is still 100% functional. If you have a problem with breaking equipment this is the phone you need.

It works great but now that it's getting older the joint is becoming loose...just waiting for the drop that finally breaks this phone. FYI it does not stand up to the weight of a Type 6 Fire Engine rolling over it though….

I have used a many different type of phone's. This phone due to the military aspects of the phone. It makes it more pratical for Law Enforcement use. I have not had any problems with this phone for the year that I have had it.
