Good handcuffs but can be more readily tampered with than the hinged type.

Only cuffs I have ever carried and they have failed me only once when a drunk just snapped the chain in two...now that was interesting !

I'm not a fan of the Model 100 cuffs. I don't like the double lock location on the keyhole side of the cuff. I prefer Peerless cuffs, but did like the old style (I believe they were S&W Model 90) cuffs. I had a pair of them but the double lock mechanism wore out and I had to retire them.

I've got several pairs of the S&W model 100 handcuffs and so far I have not had any problems with them.Overall I like using them.

I like these cuffs a lot. The only problem i had was when I cuffed a guy for another agency and they didnt search him and he pryed my cuffs apart witha screwdriver.

I have a few pair of these around.. They are cheap enough that I use them when I am not sure I will get them back, but as always they are top of the line smith....

Not a bad pair of restraints. Very common and affordable. I have a few pairs.

OK cuffs, but I don't care for the double lock slid feature on it.

Won't use anything but S&W! My dept issue Peerless chained cuffs broke after 2 months. I've had one pair of S&W's that's lasted me almost 10 years. The teeth are still in great shape, the internals are still tight and responsive and the function is smooth and flawless. I carry one set of chained and one set of hinged.

Good handcuffs. If you are on a budget and have to supply your own equipment, this is a good choice.

I carry two pair. The slot for the double lock is a little different. Smoother action out of the box than some others. The regular size works on big wrists.
