I use mine a lot during frisks and auto searches. One week after I bought them I was confronted by a large female that was armed with a long shard of glass from a window she had broken. She was suicidal. I was able to get close enough to grab the glass right out of her hand. Without the gloves, I would have never been able to do it w/o slicing my hand off.

good gloves had a set just need to get new ones about every 2 years they lose there eadge and brakedown.
