This book is a great tool for anyone who wants to improve their shooting skills. Be it designated marksmen, snipers, or sharpshooters this is the book for you. Couple this book with professional training and your skills will increase tenfold. It lists ballistic charts, how to judge windspeed and range, and also has a few pages that you can copy and print out to use on the range. It is a bit pricey, but if you want to better your shooting skills it is a good investment.

I had a chance to meet Maj. Plaster in May 2008. At that time I told him I had two books on my nightstand. One was the Bible and the other is his book. I kid you not. This is THE authoritative volume on the craft of snipership. Recommended to anyone with even a mild interest in use of a tactical rifle and snipercraft.

This book is an outstanding investment and a "must have" for all those that worship at the church of the long rifle. Lots of pertinent information regarding weapon selection, scopes, ballistics, ghillie suits, etc. If you're serious about your trade, this is the book to have.

Good book, a little out dated in some aspects. Overall a lot of good information.
