Well it does a great job provided it's not full in which case the top tends to open if it vibrates. The low price was at Sams club. The clasp is actually the only part I've had any problems with. Overall it is very durable and strong. Another little thing (not that it couldn't be expected) but I live in Pennsylvania; this thing gets miserable in seconds if your outside in the winter! I swore the otherday it stuck to my hand like the tongue of the kid from "A christmas story".

Great clipboard and lots of room for storage. Survives when falls off the top of the car.

Not just this product, but and posse box like equipment, there all durable, compact, and will survive the falls of the code lights when you forget its up there, and can be used as a weapon if you dont have anyother choice . . . I have seen it, and its very funny watching it!

Another remnant of my time as a paramedic, I still use this when documenting bigger accidents and stuff. Have had it for years and its not broken at all.

Keeps all my needed paperwork close by. Fits well into my patrol bag. I agree about the metal getting cold though. Well worth the money.
