I got a great deal on this from Sprint.com. Normally this costs $400, but online it is only $99.99 from Sprint. If you have ever used a PDA from Palm before, then you will love this phone. Has all the toys, Bluetooth, email, webbrowser, but with Sprint you can get SprintTV. Great size, check out the website:http://nextelonline.nextel.com/NASApp/onlinestore/en/Action/DisplayPhones?filterString=PDA_Smartphone_Phone_Char&id12=CHP_PhonesTab_Link_PCAandSmartphones

It Has all the toys ....because it is a toy. I Carry a Treo everyday ...Durable this phone is not. The 680 or the 750. Faster data access and some really nice apps for LEO's and EMS Crews

An awesome phone! $99 is a bit much.. I didn't have to pay that for it, but I highly recommend the Centro. It has everything you'd need and it's a decent price.
It also has a loud ringer too.- Flag as inappropriate

It has it's pros and cons. It is FRAGILE. It's great for personal use but I wouldn't recommend it for carrying on duty because it is so fragile.

This is a great phone. It has just about everything Sprint has to offer except Navigational GPS and the Sprint Music Store.

I've had treos for a long time and they are very very fragile not good for fild work they will mess up in the rain will brake if you just drop it one time I just now got a new phone with Verizon. Got th new Casio gzTypeS it does not have near as many features but it is water, sand and drop proof. It's great for field work but suck's for fun!

I used to have a nextel and it was almost indestructible. I am skeptical about the durability of the Centro but I have not had any problems yet. The buttons are small and if you have big fingers then it can be hard to press the right button. Other than that it is a great phone. It is hard to beat the price for a phone with so many features.

I love this phone, as everyone has said, it isn't very durable of field work but it gets me where i need to go everyday. It has wonderful features that sprint offers. Getting use to the buttons was difficult at first, but this phone is great.

Great phone if you're working a desk job. For the true street cop I wouldn't recommend this phone. I own one, I like the features, but you have to be very careful with it. Get the insurance if you buy one. I've replaced mine once already and I have only owned it three weeks.
My agency supplies us with heavy duty hard plastic flip nextel phones. I have dropped that thing a million times, had it fallen out of my car, etc. and it looks fine and still works great and I recomment it. If you're looking for a phone to carry on duty that will last and survive the accidents, falls, drops, etc., the centrol wouldn't be the choice.

Have to give it 4 out of 5 because it's not on my happy list at this very moment. Of course it's not the phones fault that I can't figure out how to extract the videos I recorded, but someone has to be to blame! As they say, "it may not be your fault, but I'm going to blame you anyway"... ahahaha

LOVE LOVE LOVE this phone. Only 2 thhings I don't care for...the size of the keys (very small, if you have large fingers you will have a tough time..I use my nails...and there is no daily alarm. If you want a daily alert you have to schedule it in the calendar. Alarm has to be set each time, and only one at a time can be set.) Mine is Glacier White from AT+T. LOVE the QWERTY keyboard because I text ALL the time.

i really like this phone, great for fast texting and keeping track of things to do and off duty work. battery runs down a little fast but it also charges up fast.

I love all the ways you can use the phone from games to notes, lists and more. You can even make a phone call with it. With a card the memory is large and the camera is not too shabby for a cell phone cam.

I absolutely love this phone. Used to have Nextel because of the walkie-talkie, but switched to this and have never looked back. I am quite addicted to this phone.

This phone is great. The software in it is easy to use and access. It is great that it hooks up to the computer to back up all your files and download big attachments. The memory card is a must have if using it to keep big files.

Got this phone for my wife. She loves it. Saves a lot of room in her purse. Now she doesn't have to carry her Palm pilot and a phone. Is very easy to use and has all the handy features she is used to on her regular Palm.

These are really great phones. My husband has one for his law enforcement and I just recenlty got mine because I am in the medical field. I would recommend these for every one in the law enforcement, medical and resuce area.

I have had a Palm Centro for almost 2 years now. I upgraded to it from a standard flip cell phone mainly because my schedule was getting too busy to remember and the Centro has a calendar function that sync's with your computer. The calendar has not disappointed either. I put all my court subpeona dates, trainings, wife honey-do's, and anything I need to remember in it. It is quick to add items and they will remind you as far in advance and as often as you want. I wouldn't make it to half my court dates without it. It has internet and map directions just like mapquest too. It is tough too. I have dropped it several times and it hasn't had a single problem. The touchscreen is awesome too. The only downside I have is the size of the screen. It would be nice if it was bigger. I plan on upgrading to the Palm Pre next year once it has the bugs worked out. Palm is great and I hate blackberries!

I have been having great luck with this phone and haven't lost signal like I have with other phones. I can track my dates easy and it's small enough where it's not in my way...

I've had this phone for a while. I do not carry it anymore. The phone was too fragile and slow. I did like the features and apps available.
