This is an amazing book. It was written by Randy Sutton. He was a Las Vegas Police Officer and Sgt. for many years. He goes in to detail of some of the more hairy calls he responded to, but the best part is, he also details how he delt with them. For a two and a half year officer, that was very important to me. A must read for the rookie and veteran alike.

A great book. Should be read because of how he describes how he has dealt with all the things he has seen out there. A good book for a cop beginning his career. Some really interesting calls. He was also on COPS a few times.

Anyone who has read my "About me" on my profile knows that I absolutley LOVE Randy's books!! They have me laughing, crying, crying some more and wondering how LEO's can do this on a day to day basis and not lose their sanity. A Cops Life and True Blue has given me a small window to look into, to see a Cops life through his/her eyes
