This model is a step above it previous one. The GPS device is easy to use and finger-tip e-mail is a big plus. I find the phone book a little annoying, or maybe I just need to get used to it. Definately a good purchase.

I love Blackberry period and a must have for them is the OperaMini browser. Internet, Email, GPS, etc it has everything and is faster than my PC.The voice recording feature is also a handy tool.

Awsome product, and keep in mind that I hate electronics, computers, and especially cell phones. But I'll be darned if i don't find myself using the heck out of my Balckberry every day, it goes with me everywhere & everyday, just like my cuffs and duty-weapon.

This Blackberry has saved my sanity ! I was really struggling with my Blackjack with dropped calls and was forced to upgrade to another PDA. The Blackberry works perfectly as a PDA as well as a phone. I could not be happier and don't know what I would do without it. You will have to pry it from my cold, dead hands. I highly recommended this phone for all departments !

Great cell phone, but it is incredibly difficult to learn how to use. I'm having a ton of trouble learning this phone and how to navigate around in it.

I have a Blackberry Curve and have to say this is one of the best if not Best Smart phones I have ever owned. Has great features and excellent picture quality being a 2MB pixel camera on the phone in taking quality pictures. I will say it lacks in video streaming and other features, overall I would say this phone is the best in the industry for what you can get.

Great device. Third model of BB I've had and it is by far the best one. Keeps me in touch with work (maybe a little too accessible at times). Very reliable, screen is good, keys are a good size and I like the full keyboard.

Excellent product especially since it has a built in GPS. Unfortunately it is a little big to carry with you on a duty belt but for quick location look ups and getting your e-mail, it is great! Cell phone part though is a little hard to hear as I have found with many BB's.

This is an excellent product. I've been using it for a year and a half. I have good coverage just about everywhere. I like the size of the Curve and the new Storm a little better, but there isn't a huge difference.

I have had my Blackberry since January 2008. I love this phone, I have no problem hearing during a phone call. I have download Google GPS which is free compared to the price that AT&T charges, I probably spend more time texting, and on the Internet than anything else. The only problem I have with this phone is that I had to replace the trackball. AT&T does not carry any parts in their store, I did go online and found several companies that sell replacement trackballs, very easy to install. If you remove your trackball to clean under it, just be careful not to break the little plastic clips on the sliver ring.

I was skeptical about leaving my MOTO Q for a Blackberry but man I'm glad I did. like others have said, this phone works anywhere. Even when my Nextel has 0 bars, this has signal. It's features make it great for business and pleasure.

I had one of these phone for about a year and was ready to get rid of it when the Blackberry Storm came out, but man was I wrong. Although the 8830 takes some getting used to, it is a great phone overall. If I could add one feature to the 8830 it would be a camera. If you receive a lot of photo's via text the 8830 is not your phone.

I am issued this at work and it is a great phone overall. The ability to connect to a govt server is a hudge benifit. Web browsing leaves a bit to be desired and the batter life really isn't that long if you are consistantly staying active using the different applications. I would recommend this particular phone for those that need communication via email within the government system.

This phone is always with me. I love that it is unlocked, so you can use it in any GSM market worldwide. The only beef I have with it is the calculator is a pain to use, as the buttons for it are scattered all over the keyboard (I find myself pulling out my iPod touch just for the calculator). I've also noticed this phone makes your voice sound GREAT!

Since I'm working as Lieutenant for a few months, County has issued me this Blackberry. We all know that when i go back to being a Sergeant, I will have to upgrade and get my own Blackberry phone. Was unsure about it in the beginning but getting use to all the it has to offer.
