    1st review

There are several knockoffs that work well too, but I've been very satisfied with Underarmour products. The Heat/Coldweather gear is excellent, especially under the vest.

It keeps the sweat off you pretty good. U.S. Army used to issue it to us, until someone realized that it was flammable and melts to your skin when your in a fire.

Great product. Works well under the vest, and even ployester and rayon shirts. The only thing is that the white shirts tend to stain after a period of time. I reccommend the black v-neck for under a vest. It does make a difference on a hot day.

I have used this product for years, I have about ten t-shirts by Under Armour and would not trade my oldest one for any other brands newest one. I work in a stuffy jail where you can sweat like a hog after a code and or fight with an offender, and my Under Armour truly helps to wick the sweat away from my body and making it easy to dry faster.

I switched from cotton undershirts to Under Armour and never looked back. Keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer. I don't like wearing the bulky winter jacket we are issued, with long sleeve under armour I don't need too. Under Armour holds up well too, I still have a shirt I bought back in 01.

Their winter gear is amazing. I have worn it on duty and while I run. It has keep me completly warm. I run in weather sometimes that is in the teens and even lower with the windchill and this underarmour keeps me warm. All I had on was the underarmour, a tee-shirt, and a lite fleece. The wind did not penetrate it. Just like it say's armour!!

The composite fiber king. This stuff is incredibly comfortable and pulls sweat away from the body and insulates fairly well. The cold weather variant is just as good as thermals, the main advantages are the light fabric and the quick drying. Just be sure to wash it.

This is my first winter on the job and it was a terrible one but UA made it liveable. Keeps you warm when you find yourself outside your squad on a cold night. Can't wait to try the cold gear this summer. At first I tried another brand because UA is expensive but the generic stuff doesn't compare. It's well worth the extra cash!

Totally saved my tail on so many occasions. Running and training in the rain, keeps your body at a normal healthy temp. You wouldn't believe it till you try it how it pulls the moisture off of your skin. Also wear it everytime I work out to get more out of my workout.

Just this weekend we did driver training. 45 degrees out with 20mph wind with a wind chill of 22 degrees. Didn't get to wear it the first day and was wrapped in blankets and miserable. 2nd day wore it only needed a sweatshirt. This stuff is totally amazing. Wish I would have thought of it.

After seeing several pieces of Underarmor clothing melted to the skin of soldiers and Marines in Iraq after IED explosions and fires I would NEVER own or wear any article of theirs. I would highly recommend that no one in public safety wear their products for the same reason. They are highly flammable and WILL melt to your skin if they catch fire.

Be it HeatGear or ColdGear, UA is great for keeping me comfortable. Especially when I was on my wheel for long periods of time during escorts and motorcades. The only drawback is that my body does'nt like the "compression fit" upper gear, as it tends to restrict circulation in my arms when i'm in one position for an extended period of time. Loose fit "upper gear" works fine for my arms, and compression lower gear is a great match for the breeches. I have'nt stopped buying UA since.

In a word...OUTSTANDING! I wear UA summer and winter. All their garments are exceedingly comfortable and wear like iron. My only real complaint is that on my white t-shirts I wear under my vest, they discolor over time and you CAN NOT get them white again, not with bleach, not with oxyclean (mat Billy rest in peace), nuttin'! That is the only reason I don't give UA a 5.

Amazing product, wicks moisture, has a wide variety of compression and loose fitting.

I don't like wearing a lot of layers because it makes me feel bulky, hotter, and soaked with sweat. The compression fit wicks the moisture and basically removes the extra layer. Its also simply more comfortable. For the hottest of days I wear my black sleeveless tactical shirt and on the coldest of days I wear my coldgear leggings and longsleeve compression top for added warmth without added bulk. A major plus in uniform.

I own a whole range of products; socks, compression shorts, athletic shorts, a jock for simunitions training, leggings, and a range of shirts. I highly recommend every Under Armour product I have ever worn or owned.

I recieved some underarmour long sleve T-shirts for Christmas and started wearing them. I use them under my uniform and I stay dry as well as warm. I also wear them to go to the gym and work out. I throw a light coat on after training and I stay dry. I usually get a lot of head colds but I haft to say I have stayed pretty healthy since wearing the shirts. The cold air doesn't bother me like it would if I have worn a cotton T-shirt which holds moisture.

Under Armour makes some seriously high quality merchandise. They offer gear from head to toe, from winter to summer and have even recently added some "in between" items. The only downside to the product line is availability in retail stores and price. A pair of thermal pants from their "Cold Gear" line can run you up to $60 and therefore some retail outlets don't stock much of them. However that is avoided by hitting their website.

My only COMPLAINT is that, with the duty uniform, the WHITE crew necks get a dinghy, almost dirty look after they are worn for a while (and yes, I mean AFTER they are washed.) Scared to try bleach on that fabric due to the cost.

I have the UA Shoes and they are great in so far as comfort and style, very nice fit on tired feet. I have yet to find a pair of shoes that can with stand the rigors I put them through.

The stitching for the toe guard and the leather in-step has broke and the toe guard and in-step piece are right where the feet articulate and this puts stress on the stitching I spend a fair amount of time crawling and sitting on my shoe heels when I process a scene, so the product needs some reinforcing in that area of the shoe for a five star rating.
