    1st review

We currently carry these in all patrol vehicles. I find the rifle very smooth, and accurate to shoot. We have only been using these rifles for 5 years but they appear to be very durable and dependable.

If I can get a CL version, I would buy this at any price.

Very accurate rifle. Clean and easy to maintain. I've never had a single jam with all the rounds I've shot. Much better that the M-16 I used in the Army.

I have the G36C, 8.9 inch barrell, Incredible weapon. Easy to clean, put 5,000 rnds thru and it is still clean. It is very easy to manipulate all featues in tight quarters, even sitting in vehicle shooting through windshield ( not recomended, but if you had to you could)

I had a chance to play with one of these last year while at FT Irwin CA. Our German friends were doing joint manuever training with us and this was thier standard issue rifle. every thing about this rifle screams " user friendly" from the built in Red dot scope to a selector switch on both sides of the rifle, Making this compatible for both right and left handed shooters. I had a fun time at the range with this weapon, and if you can get your hands on one of these bad boys I'm sure you will too.

This is currently our rural tactical carry long gun for my Tact Team. It is a good all around rifle, clean firing, easy to maintain but it is not a precision rifle. Trigger action is stiff, sights are functional but not precise either.

Standard issue for our local SRT Team. Smoothest, cleanest, and most accurate .223 I've ever fired, and just as versatile as any AR out there. We deploy both the C and K versions, which makes for good long- and short-range capabilities. Only reason I didn't give this weapon 5 stars is the occaisional fail-to-feed, but otherwise an excellent choice!

Standard issue at our patrol level. Having grown up around the M-16/M-4, I find that the trigger pull is heavy on this weapon. It takes getting used to for malfunction drills, I do not like the high mounted sites and you have to get used to dropping your aim point when moving on target. I have yet to have any malfunctions other then self made ones.

Have used this weapon in full size version and also K version. Outstanding weapon, easy to train and maintain. Only shortfall has been until recently lack of accessories. No other weapon has been able to keep up do to rare misfires, all of which have been ammo related not weapon related. H&K has not been easy to deal with even though their product is excellent their support is not.

    Great all around patrol rifle.
Pros: Eats anything ammo wise. Very accurate - nobody has any problems hitting pop up ivans at 300 meters with iron sights properly sighted in. Ambidextrous safey switch. Gas driven piston is cleaner, cooler, and more reliable than direct impingement A.R. Folding stock for easy movement in vehicles. Polymer mags are tough and make it easy to see what's left. Easy to clean and maintain.
Cons: Rare issues with reliability. I'm not sure what it was, but the armorer always knew what it was and fixed it quickly.
Stock is foldable, but not teloscopic. Too long for some.
Heavy. It's a little heavier than many A.R.'s.
