This book is great reading for any Law Enforcement Officer. It is very easy reading. It makes you feel like you are sitting at a bar with Rudy, and he is just s[pilling his guts to you. It has some really great ways to look at crime, and how to lead people in stressfull situations, or just how to be a great leader. He is truly a genious when it comes to crime.

Just read this based on previous reviews on this site. An easy to read and follow formula for successful leadership. Rudy uses examples from his life to illustrate the tennets of leadership that he is presenting. I found it to be insightful and interesting and would recommend it to LE Academy instrutors looking for some good training material.

I read the book a while ago, it is a great book in theory but I think some of the choices he has made and his relationship with Kerik take away from the message

An excellent book. This tells Rudy's story, while placing it the broader context of leadership principles he believes in. Everyone should read this before they vote in 2008.

He wasn't a good leader. He got things done but at the cost of honesty and integrity.

This was an excellent book on the leadership styles of Rudy Giuliani. He was able to apply methods typically not used or seen by managers and leaders today. I highly suggest that anyone who is interested in being an effective leader, read this book.

I thought this was one of the better books on leadership I had read in a while. He leads from the front and is always on the lookout for what he can make better. The aspect I liked most about him was what he did prior to 9/11 to prepare the city for disasters. He sat down and came up with likely disasters that could happen. One was a plane hitting one of the towers in bad weather. With just a little tweaking the city already had a plan in place for the events of 9/11.
